I like this car and I wish it had some ass! It is very practical and handles great.
I want that kit badly.
It's like when the Nintendo Entertainment System came out.
I know I sound silly but I don't care.

Yea around there. I really want to see what they come out with in the next couple of years for these cars. Like some internal upgrades. But no turbo for me i want to pay the car off first before i do that.

Man i know what u mean i have wanted a LCD tv now with a blueray player for a while. So i got one this weekend with a ps3 for the blueray. I really don't like to put all my money into a car any more i did that with my old evo and yea it was a fun car but i realize now there is more for me than a car. Next for me is a bike though for the price of the turbo kit i can get a bike. And i think the bike would be more fun than a turboed fit. Even though that woud be a blast.

no you should read up on gd3kamiwanabe's Fit
he put down 140ish with hks kit and exhaust

if your going bone stock then the restriction of the stock exhaust would probably put down around 120

i'd pick this up over the kwsc anyday

In terms of practicality, this kit is a damn good deal and has plenty of head room for upgrading.

did he have to get it tuned? or does the stock tune work fine with an exhaust? cause that would be a huge selling point, if i could get this kit, an exhaust and use the plug and play tune to get around 140!

quoting HKSUSA.com website
"HKS' bolt-on turbo kit, combined with the optional HKS Hi-Power exhaust and upgraded HKS spark plugs produced a performance gain of approximately 30 % gain in peak horsepower"

i.e. turbo WITH exhaust AND spark makes 30% more power
if 109hp = 142hp @ THE CRANK
if 90hp ish @ the wheels = 120 hp ish TO THE WHEELS with EXHAUST and SPARK, that is WITH EXHAUST AND SPARK
i.e. a MODIFIED fit will make 30% more hp
remember u have to REMOVE THE ENGINE FROM THE CAR and put it on an engine dyno to get crank hp, also measuring hp on a dyno with the hood up will EXAGGERATE hp #'s

also, if your car made 120 hp (made up numbers) with an intake and headers THOSE MODS WILL BE USELESS in the turbo set-up, I.E. u will not make 156hp

r u going to spend 3k on the testimony on 1 fool only?
if the kit made 140hp to the WHEELS WITHOUT an exhaust and spark (that's about a 60% increase) do u think HKS would say that?

testimonial by ONLY 1 person (a known exaggerator [look at his previous posts]) is better than HKS??

many different people have posted hp #'s on the t1r kit and the kwsc

ONLY kamiwannabe has posted here
remember kamispeed sells stuff that is marketed to usdm fits that DO NOT FIT!!!! (he vouches for liars)

maybe HKS was conservative but where are the all the other people with hp #'s??

believe whatever u want but....
LOOK IT UP YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok its like this we have 109 horse at the crank in our cars so with the exaust and spark plugs we would be running at 141.7 crank hp at 5.7 psi on 91+ oct. And that is being carb legal in all 50 states and hardly affecting MPG. Which i think is great for some on that just wants a little bit more power than the fit has stock. And keep in mind thats at 5.7 psi if down the road we get some internals u can crank up the psi. And run some meth maybe. So i would say that this is a good kit for those looking to keep good MPG and to stay street leagal. I was pushing around 375 crank hp in my evo and only geting 316awhp. Im sure the fit would be a blast at 141.7 crank hp. And these are just numbers to differnt dynos read different numbers. Any one that has modded car before knows its not about this magic number peolpe like to think about. I mean its what the time slip says and the way it feels. With my old evo i beat twin turboed 350Z that say they were puting down 420whp but i would own them every time. Don't worry so much with number but more how the car feels at the time. That is what i have learned from my moding days. Any one braggin that they can win becasue of how much there dyno sheet says is a newbi and will get beat every time.

135 HP and 136 Tq at the wheels with just the kit installed.
No exhaust and spark upgrades. I can back those numbers up with a large vendor who has installed a few.

I believe you would upgrade the spark plugs to run a colder range and probably a different gap due to the increase in cylinder pressure. Spark plugs do not make power.

The kit is of quality and is C.A.R.B legal.
With further modifications and tuning obviously greater numbers can easily and safely be achieved.

I think you may be comparing this kit to another that is clearly labeled "for off road use only".

Like it, buy it. If you don't, move on but the best bang for the buck is a turbocharger.

30% is a good increase on this little car. You seem to have forgotten that this is a FWD four door hatchback with an anemic 1.5 liter SOHC engine. If you bought a Honda Fit to drag race you have the wrong car.

You know, anyone can whip up a turbo kit and advertise numbers.
Not to many can produce quality, reliable, and expandable kits that can be CARB exempt.
