S2k calipers painted! Hopefully installing the brakes tomorrow.

I could've sanded them down a bit more for a polished look but it's all good, a tiny dremel was all I had haha. It's smoother now and I filed down the casting lines a lot too.

It's a duplicolor brush on kit. The paint contained hardener which settled down the brush strokes; really easy to apply and less messy than spraycan in my opinion lol

Oh , just like the G2 caliper paint kit that I use 2 weeks ago to paint my rear caliper yellow... yes, I agree that it actually easier to use than the spray can...

long time ago, I used caliper paint (spray) and after several coat, it actually show crack on the almost dry paint...

Nice

Please post pic as soon as you install it

Oh awesome haha, yea I'm not much of an spray can fan-- everytime I use it, I can't seem to make it look as nice as I want it haha. Probably my fault but this brush on was really simple.

Will do!

oil everywhere

Found spots on garage floor, decided to investigate further. Oil pools under the big intake plenum next to fuel injectors. Took apart intake and valve cover....looking to the right lower side of the valves.

looks terrible

I want to say I believe Waiz, but there's always that one item that is needed to "finish" off the project. Then of course there's something else that comes along and it's a never ending cycle lol!

I was finally able to get most of the stuff back on the car for one last event before she goes down for version 2.0 which should be completed in a few months.

One picture my brother sent over from someone on a website called Instagram.

Nothing mod wise, but I finally got my airbag part replaced so I got to drive my fit after nearly 3 months!

It was like driving a new car again =)

Those retaining screws on the stock rotors were a PAIN.

Wow,
That looks very nice !

Yes, the retaining screw...
it even broke my screwdriver bits when I try to use it with my electric impact wrench... turn out the old impact screwdriver works better...

Thanks! Yea, I bought a cheap impact driver and the bit broke LOL. I ended up drilling the screw out

My TRUST GReddy Radiator Hose Temperature Sender Adapter just arrived today from Japan.
I was trying to buy it from vendor here in the US but none have them in 28mm diameter size.
I was thinking of buying 30mm size here locally,
glad I measured my Samco hose first cause 30mm would not fit,
even 28mm going to be a very tight FIT.

note: I just notice that the clamp that came with it actually Made in USA,
so the clamp goes from here to Trust in Japan and back here to me in USA

Thanks! It's a big difference from before when my car was just greyscale all around haha. I've always loved Project Mu's signature blue

The brakes/rotors look good man!

I have heard the screws are a nightmare. Which is another strike against me doing my own brake job.

Why does honda even put them, other car companies don't.

Thanks bro! Yea, it was the only thing keeping the install from being really easy haha. It only took the morning though and that was my first time. I don't even need the screws because my bolt on spacers keep the rotors in place anyway whenever I pull the wheels out haha.
