I never denied that there is a small group of people who are certainly into that sort of thing.

But for most people, who can't tell the difference between a Fit, Yaris or a Versa.. which is the majority of people, it just makes the rest of us look like overgrown kids. And that bothers me more than being called a ricer or seeing the JDMBro's riding around in their plasti-chromed rust buckets, mostly because it attracts law enforcement, and sometimes because the shit they are doing is just useless, bad for the car or dangerous to those around them, even if it seems benign.

Like the kids riding around shaving their tires as they drive, running 6 degrees of camber and blowing out on the highway. It's then associated with, right orwrong, the same bunch of jerkoffs that think they know how to drift in their FWDs and raise my insurance with their bullshit.

I have the same wheels and they really do tend to rub if you drop your car very much... The reason that most people buy and install them is because the weigh only 9.5lbs and actually improve their car's performance.

If you were into improving the way your car drives, handles and runs, you wouldn't have to constantly be trying to be first in spending money on what may be a short lived trend..... Handling and performance is more gratifying than chasing trends.

I look at your car and it's the riciest thing I've seen on FF in a while. What are you complaining about? Look at your car first before complaining lol

BTW putting red Honda emblems on a Fit is rice. Period. Ricier than having a tow hook on that's for sure.

Personally I think of modding as changing anything not performance wise. If you hand fabricate something on your car your modding it and it doesn't need to be performance(like a cf hood or something like that) or even adding rims with spacers or whatnot.

Tuning on the other hand is when i think of changing the performance specifically.

Accessories - everything else.

Technically i think you would call that JDM and the Rice factor can be argued. Some people just think the chrome plain logo is butt ugly lmao

The red emblem isn't JDM. It's reserved for Type R's....of which...there isn't a Fit

Well yeah i don't mean specific to the fit at least not yet but i was referring to the fact that it is jdm because the us has not had any version of a honda with this on it standard. at least not to my knowledge. Where as the Japanese Domestic Market has

Modding isn't even a word.. Modifying is a word.. To modify is to improve or alter something to perform a task better or different from what it did originally or originally did.... Tuning or tuner was only used in reference to motorcycles until much later when computer hacks had figured out how to manipulate the electronics in newly released Japanese and European cars.
