I'm possibly doing that on Sept 5th if I go that Friday to Houston. But if not, then I'm doing the 1/8th mile on the 6th. Not sure of the plans yet, but I'll let you know.

I plan on getting my car dyno tuned on the 6th of September.. if all goes well I will try to go and make a few passes (1/4 mile) the week after.

I think there is a calculation to be made for elevation changes.. I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada and I think we are approximately 3500ft above sea level.. I think I've heard that it adds about 1 second onto a car that runs at sea level... so if I run 16.0 it would be equivalent to 15.0 at sea level.

So since we went go karting, and took most of the day, we all didn't get to hit the tracks. No times here.

FWIW I took a ride in Blue Cell's car and was totally blown away. Amazing power and made my car feel so slow and worthless afterwards-- I gotta go FI.

You won't regret it! I love mine. Did the install myself with a couple friends and it went smooth. Took us about 12hrs total time, but most of that time was spent doing a custom mount for the optional oil cooler and for the new washer fluid reservoir.

I got dyno'd last weekend and pulled 155whp on a mustang dyno @ 6psi. I still need to get tuned to our elevation (which is 3500ft above sea level), so I am hoping for a few more ponies. Mustang dyno's usually read a bit lower than a Dynojet and much lower than a Dynapack. If I were on a Dynojet and properly tuned I think I would be in the 165-175whp range.

That's some good numbers YeeFit. I expect mine to be higher than my last dyno although I haven't gone up there. I had a stock bpipe, I upgraded that. Messing with my boost a little now.

Can someone take a pic where that barometric pressure sensor is? I think it's on top of the intake manifold, but I'm not sure which one. I want to try something.

A map is still a map that needs to be tuned specifically for your car. I don't know what other else he has done to the map. Anyways, I wanted to have a look at it first. I was thinking of putting a spacer if it bolts up to the intake manifold (like an O2 Fix). But I won't know until I see how it works.

Agreed.. I am getting my map tuned, but I am waiting to get his new map before I tune it.. no point really doing it twice.

I'm not sure if spacing the sensor will work like the O2 fix, the boost pressure will still get into that space.. kinda like how the BOV works. But its worth a try.. I heard someone tell me once that it could be fixed, but I can't remember how..

the values need to be corrected in the ecu or someone needs to come out with a true engine management system for the fit. what is happening is the emanage is intercepting the signal to each of the injectors and adding more fuel to the mixture behind the ecu's back. the ecu read the values of the air coming into the engine and thinks its way too lean. i have a 4bar map sensor sitting in my parts box but i wouldnt dare install it without a reflash to correct the value spectrum. the new map that ben is making is like a band aid over something that needs stiches. all in all, i dont mind my check engine light being on. i know what my car is doing. i dont need an internal computer on the car to tell me whats wrong.
