nah, the location of the dump pipe is fine where it is. the only thing i would improve about this kit is the oil return line. it sits dangerously close to the driveshaft. and if that line breaks, goodbye turbo. goodbye engine.

i got my car dynoed. ill post the sheets in an hour. i gotta go take back the trailer to uhaul.

I had blown the ignition fuse somehow.... hahaha i dunno.
so i replaced the fuse and now have a running turbo fit! I just have to get it tuned!
OH and does anyone have the base map for the AT and the map for the MT? jw

Your Fit is awesome kelso... just thought i'd let you know. And thank you and Bluecell for answering like all of my millions of questions.

So, I got my kit installed this past weekend. It went pretty smoothly.. took me and a couple friends about 10-12 hours to get it installed. Only somewhat time consuming parts of the install were the mounting of the oil cooler kit and the smaller washer bottle..

The car is so much faster! I love th BOV sound and how it pulls.. I just have a couple minor adjustments to make to get it running good.

I have a couple q's for the other ppl with this kit.. I have a CEL on right now, I don't know what it is, but Illusive is bringing over his scangauge tonight to see what the code is.

Also, I have a little bit of hesitation in the acceleration and initial get go... its intermittent, but I don't think this is normal.. I have to give the car a bit more gas to get it going from a stop, if I don't it sputters or feels like it wants to stall... any ideas? I also noticed a couple times that if I accelerate slowly it will hesitate again around ~3000 rpms..

Apart from this little bug, the kit is awesome.. I love it!

The code would most likely be the barometric pressure reading in the intake manifold. Did Ben not give you his latest fuel map?

It will hesitate around 3000rpms when your car is cold. When you warm up, it will go away. Actually, someone else with a TC has the same problem. It's an emanage thing and I haven't really looked into it.
As for the stall start, you should retune it to give a little more fuel in the idle range. I noticed it was a little low and just added some more. It's fine now.

Enjoy your kit, make sure its broken in to

Thanks Blue.. I'll call Ben to see if he did or didn't give me the latest map. Was it hard to adjust the idle? did you do it yourself or should i have a shop do it?

You can do it yourself with a computer. You must have a 2.0 USB cable though. I can't tell you exactly how much more to put it. It's been a while. I think it was at -.25 at start and changed it to -.35, correct me if I'm wrong. I did it at the shop, but he was telling me what he was doing while I was watching him do it. It's just for the 500-1000 rpm. The shop guy put lower fuel to try it out and my car died sometimes on a cold start up. So just a little more than the preset should be good. I can ask for you next time I go to the shop, but I don't know when that will be. Or ask Ben while you are at it.

I was set on the high boost supercharger but it seems to be taking forever and it seems like it really cram your engine compartment. I may switch to this turbo instead. Does it leave a little more room in the engine bay?

Plus it seems that except for JDMChris everyone is dynoing at 120-125hp on the base kit. I'm just trying to get to 150-160hp.

It crams engine space for the intercooler pipings and intake piping. But otherwise theres still a big hole on the front of the engine, to the driver side.

yea it doesnt seem as crammed because it doesnt have that tube over the intake manifold but it does deff get more crammed for space

That still looks nicers than the KWSC engine bay. I had a jackson kit on my integra back in the day, but I'm afraid that the highboost kit with Hondata is going to be 6k which just seems like a lot to get to 160hp.

Thank for the responses so quick.

when i plug in my laptop to the emanage and start the car, it gives me an error reading that says "low v-tec at 1000rpm" ...help?
I got the map from ben like 2 days ago, and my car wont let me go over like 3200 rpms, in addition to the error reading. not good huh?

sounds like your car is running in "limp" mode. try resetting the codes and check your fuses.
