It was really weird, I was fully expecting Crowfoot Muffler to be open.. and Speedy should have been open on Saturday until 5:00, it even says so on the door.

Maybe call them Monday to see whats up and confirm they can take you this Saturday so everything goes smooth Sunday

Man, all the responces from muffler shops today have been piss poor except for Crowfoot Muffler. I guess I will try to book it down to Crowfoot after work today... at rush hour... in the snow

I think my favorite was either Midas or Speedy

Midas: Hello
Me: Can you guys install a weld in bung on a header for me this afternoon?
Midas: Well a weld in bung eh, that could take a couple of hours to install
Me: But it is a header that is a loose part I will bring in, it has never been installed and is totally clean.
Midas: But you know, cutting the whole and depending on where it gets installed it could be tricky... at least an hour or two worth of labour.
Me: um ok... never mind

Speedy: Hello how can I help you
Me: Hi, can you guys install a weld in bung for me on a new uninstalled header?
Speedy: Sorry we don't install supplied parts
Me: Well they are both loose parts, but you guys could supply the bung...
Speedy: *Click*

So where should I tell them to install this thing? I can't get too close to the O2 sensor because the cell elliminator attachment could stick over top of it.

Should I look at having it put in upstream of the resonator?

only place I can see on there is right before the flex pipe on one side or the other.

Probably better on the driver side so we don't need to cross over or under the pipe.

That way you will read the af/r from all 4 pipes merging into 1

do it on one of the 2 collectors. in front of the flew looks too far away.

i was told to install it between 14-18 inches down stream of the head.

If you're turbo'd then you'll want it much further FYI. more like 36" downstream or else you'll burn out the sensor prematurely.

Just make sure it has clearance and is at the proper angle... it'd be best to install it and then have the bung installed to make sure you'll have room to actually install the sensor in and have clearance for it under the car.

ya, i think you should have the bung placed infront on the flex part after the 2-1 collector.. should have enough room there.

Will you not need an O2 fix piece since this header removes the cat? you'll throw a CEL if the OEM O2 sensor is just installed without a O2 fix piece. Or does this header not replace the cat?

I dropped it off today, they are installing it on the driver side right before the flex joint.

It does replace the cat, but comes with a CEL eliminator... looks like a 4" pipe with a 90 degree bend that the O2 sensor plugs into.

Anybody replaced their wiper blades since they bought the car? Mine have been pretty good for the last two years, but I am thinking about picking up a new OEM set from Honda for the spring. Approx Cost?

I think Jon was saying only the inserts get changed now not the whole assembly.

I should get some inserts! I've changed mine once already, but for that price I'd rather just change them every year!

I'll pick some up from you when I pick up the O2 sensor!

crappy man... is that due to the cat delete? Mine isn't bad at all, but I may be just used to it... but i did hear that non-turbo'd cars with a cat-delete are pretty loud..

A turbo acts as a muffler so turbo cars would be much quieter even without a resonator and a bigger diameter exhaust.
