Does anyone know if the footwell/ambient lights from the GE fit on the GD?

Do the injectors swap over? I've seen posts on this forum that said they are 185cc on GD and 277cc on GE, and others say both are 185cc. I refuse to believe they almost doubled so I am going to swap over some fresher GE injectors into my 07 Sport this weekend... stop me now if I'm being ignant

.Success. So this can serve as confirmation. Both GD (VIII) Injectors and GE (IX) are 185cc, and swappable.

Seat belt transfers to 2007 GD?
Hello all,
I tried to search for anything on getting a replacement seat belt for my GD. I'm just interested in replacing the driver's side. If I like the belts, I'll work at swapping out the other passengers' belts.
The driver's belt is just stuck. I looked at other '07 and '08 today at the wreckers and it seems that they get stuck often. At least the 07 and 08s I saw today.
Is there any nicer working seat belts in the later Fits that are compatible with the early Fits?

Interested in the ge steering wheel
i know this is a late thread. But i just want to get info about the ge steering wheel. I want to put it on my honda fit gd1. Do i need anything else? Or its just plug and play? Do i need to change the sockets for this or what? Thanks for your kind response.

Forget all this cosmetic stuff. Someone asked whether the manual transmissions are interchangeable and I REALLY need to know this. Like a lot of early GD3 mt's mine's on the way out. I may buy a 2008 model with body damage just to take the mt out. But will it fit? Donor car would be the 1.3 L engine whereas my 2007 car has the 1.5 L if that makes any difference.
Don't care if the gear ratios are different, but WILL they bolt in place of each other, anyone know? I might then put the wonky one back into the newer car and resell it as a complete parts car to someone else. Please don't let me get stuck with TWO wonky Jazz/Fits as my wife will kill me!
PS Here's my Jazz, I took off the original 14" steelies and put on 15" mag's from a much newer model, dunno which year though.

Here it is, the GREAT GE8 to GD3 part swap thread.
A few things i'm interested in are the steering wheel, front driver & passenger seats, rear magic seats with the concealed compartment, and the ivtec engine.

So... can you get cruise control in a 5MT GD3?
