#303
This thread is back! lol well anyway I have a base fit and I hate the steering wheel. Has anyone done this mod? I'd love to see it. I'm considering on doing this in the near future. and if I could do audio controls it would be a plus++!

Yes, for the most part. I think it fit good considering it was made for the GE not GD.
Here're some pics.
Driver is pretty good 'cept a bit short near the footrest. Mat is short enough to not interfere with the pedals.
Front passenger side is near perfect.
Rear passenger side is good here.
Toward the back the slit in the mat isn't big enough to clear the rear seat leg. I can only tuck one side and the other I left resting against the leg. Not a big deal for me since the leg area is not visible unless you look down there.
Left rear is about the same fitment as the right side.
Back part is the same situation as the other side.

i wanna know if the hard plastic under the driver side rear seat from the GE8, which has a little pocket in it, can be transfered onto the GD3? if anyone knows for sure, lemme know, otherwise i may just try it out myself...

The Accessory HandsFreeLink (BlueTooth) will work...The connector to the fuse panel needs to be taken apart (not cut off) of the harness to plug into Item 10 (M connector) of the Under-dash Fuse/Relay Box. The White/Red wire of the harness goes to pin 1 (top pin) and the brown wire goes to pin 3. Then you need to intsall a 20A fuse into socket #20 (empty from the factory). I did not install the bracket for the module under the steering wheel. I just drilled 4 holes through the panel to zip-tie the module to the panel. That is it!
Here is what the finished product looks like...
