Did this the other day

This shot still has the rear beam on, I already removed it. Planning on getting Js or beatrush rear beam, not sure yet.

Is the car actually quick? I've always like the 'go fast holes' look for some reason. Just my opinion here, but I'd peel off that BWR sticker and throw it in the trash. A lot of their forced induction parts are garbage and a rip off.

Well, I did the holes for looks and letting the air out as I drive. As for quick, I did lessen the weight of the car by removing rear bumper bar, back seats, and spare tire and jack, I do worry though of a flat but It now moves quicker and that I can feel a difference were not given a strong power plant motor but I make the best for my car 😄

My DME bar have not arrived yet but until then, I connected the bars to the shocks temporarily. Man, I'm so tempted in buying or building me my own rear lower diffuser tray to finish the rear end The look I really want is the wrx vortex diffuser or the topone motors diffuser for second choice or just build me something hahaha

Bondo work done throughout the car, mostly on the doors.

My mug shot with the new bars installed. It's not miracle bars but who cares, I still like it.

Did this the other day, I was testing paint, I'm going to paint the entire car this color, when I find extra time. I like this, I like how it sparkles in the sun

I'm all for weight savings, but I hope you or a passenger doesn't get hurt in a rear-end accident now that you have no rear bumper bar.

+1

When I do the JDM rear end conversion, I'm shortening and rewelding my rebar.

Safety > anything else.

Modded the stock box, deleted all the resonators and added custom Silicone with air intake sensor from tb to the stock box using existing hardware. Tb side is 2.5 inch while box side is 3 inch.

I changed the oil again the other day and just checked for recalls here: Recall Information for Safety & Defects | Honda Owners Site and found that I need to get my passenger's airbag inflator replaced.

They aren't available yet.

Get with your local dealership to get one on order, and check back periodically for availability.

Will they give you a rental?

I can't answer that one. (I don't think so, but I don't know that for certain....ask your dealership)

Wait for the official notification to arrive in your mailbox and see what it says?

Right now I did not see a projected date for the 07-08 Fit recalls to begin.
That info could change tomorrow for all I know...the new recall updates can change amazingly fast sometimes.

Make sure you are the current registered owner in Hondas (corporate) database and your info is correct, so you can be sure you will get the notices, and not a previous owner (where applicable)

This is ongoing but I wanted to give some feedback after getting the P30n code recently. In the past month, I've:

1. Replaced all four plugs with Denso irridiums.
2. Replaced a failing coilpack with OE (thank you guys for both directly and indirectly recommending Rockauto - those guys are awesome!).

The coilpack I replaced was, if I'm on the level, an original red-boot Hitachi that most likely was installed at the factory back in '08. There was significant corrosion on the terminal and spring assembly inside the boot, and the hard rubber 'nipple' was greyed and crumbling when I went in (which definitely coincided with the cylinder the ECU was faulting). After I ran an alcohol-dipped Q-tip through each of the coilpacks and reinstalled them the car idled and ran great for about 30 miles, then it started misfiring bad and started throwing codes for the cylinder with the dying internals - so I had the replacement coilpack shipped and I put it in.

End result: Immediately better idle, strong acceleration and revving.

The other coils -- while they did not show any significant wear, no corrosion, and I ran with them for a while, I still have no idea who the manufacture is (they have red boot ends but no builder stamps or series numbers) and I'm starting to get weak firing again so I've got the remaining three replacements coming this week and I'm just going to do them all to get them all uniform with each other.

Bought some JDM rear head rests so when I get Mugen seat covers, the rear will fit.

I also bought the Honda Access blue ambient light kit. It'll look nice and match my fancy light on my JDM dome light.

The Honda Access ambient light kit is one of the few dress up/non-functional things I've always wanted on my Fit.

Can you take pics as your do your install? I'm curious if it would be plug and play or would require a little bit of wiring work.
