Parked the FIT in the drive after a few months of commuting to Maine. Time to collect things a bit and set up for a clay bar and wax job.

Slapped some vortex generators on the back. Gonna see how much they help at 70-75 mph on my 2.5 hour trip tomorrow.

about 5 hours. we took our time, about 45 min for dinner. and we had to completely remove one of the fronts after we had installed it because we left off a nut from the original strut that you have to transfer over. ran into the usually little hangups; nuts not breaking loose easily, etc. and the second strut is a pain because the tension rod has shifted from when you changed the first side. but overall not too bad really.

Was going to put in a new Braille battery, but upon putting it in and then attempting to crank the car...nothing. So pulled out my multimeter and the voltage was a whopping 5.6V. I had a bad feeling the battery was toast, took it out, hooked it up to an AGM charger, immediately it threw a code of sulfated battery. So now need to send it back and wait a bit more. While my stock battery was out, it weighs 19lbs, compared to the 12.4lbs of the Braille and the mounting hardware combined.

I hate that you had that happen... I ordered a Deka ETX14L battery a couple of days ago and hope I don't have the same problem... It is the same as a Braille except this one is supposed to be a little tougher since it is what they recommend for Harley Sportsters.

Spent the day at the Gettysburg battlefields

I took my son and nephew to Gettysburg today...we had a nice time. They enjoy climbing on the rocks at THE DEVILS DEN.

The first set of pics are from Little Round Top. This battle was fought on the second day of Gettysburg ( July 2). The 15th Alabama made three attempts to take the hill and on the third try the 50th Maine out of ammunition was forced to charge. Its easy to see from the pics that the south was at a great disadvantage, however they came very close at taking the hill.

The other pics are from the famous sniper spot The Devils Den.

Saw that one of my delivery customers recently bought a Fit (PMM Sport AT). Even showed him how to changing the auto lok settings.

Fits are popping up quite a bit around here.

Actually it was on top of the filter... Well the part closest to the hood. I think it's the in line fuse holder for my Hella super tones so I zip tied it of to the side so it can't move. No more noticeable damage at the moment. I just ran it hard around the lakes I'm gonna wait about an hour for it cool and go check out.

Really need to do some suspension mods. Managed to swing the ass out a couple of times through the corners. guess those will be next after the rims and tires since my stocks are almost gone

Thanx for the American history lesson and educating the young'uns about the almost forgotten battles that took place that helped make this country as "Great!" as it is....

Oh yeah, nice car too!
