Pics will come after a proper car wash

The rears were actually clanking a bit so I took everything off again and readjusted. Lowered it all the way down too. I love working on my car. My anti-drug/depression, everything.

This drives like a dream!

Still in Palo Alto. I'm hoping to be on the road tomorrow. But, planning on taking HWY 1 and or 101 (when I can't take the 1).

Edit: stinking page, lagged like crazy on me. I wanted to say, because I'm taking the 1/101 I might take two days to get to SD.

I had some girls listening to the sub say something about "it must be one of those plug in cars"... I proceeded to give the accelerator a tap and let it get to 4k rpm. They didn't think it was a "plug in" after that...

Did my first oil change a few days ago. I had right around 5500 miles on it.

My dash said 50%, but I don't really care what the maintence minder says I'm not going over 5500 miles on an oil change. Yes, I've read all the "blah blah, but the spec sheets say." I don't care, 5500 is my limit because I want this car/engine to last as long as possible.

On a side note, we recently put a car lift in my parents new garage. Made doing an oil change a breeze on the fit, as if it was hard anyways. It also gave me an opportunity to map out my custom exhaust ideas.

Bingo! Stripped nuts and I guess you can a lack of tools, which made for some McGuyver stuff. The rears are easy as hell don't get me wrong. I actually took them off again yesterday and put it back in, in less than an hour.

5k is a good median for oil changes. Been doing this for years also. I do the same with tire rotation.

Oh no Kenchan... I let my wife do that for 4 days and I ended up with a major ding in the drivers side door.

sorry to hear... actually, my wife did a number on the front bumper the other day hitting a tire stop pretty badly. i need to fix it soon...

when she back up to get off the tire stop i think she may have even broke one of the tabs off cause the wheel liner is slightly out of place. doh..

I pull my front bumper loose myself nearly every time I drive it, it's hard not to do where I live... My wife decided that a Forester would be a great car for her to buy because we had to literally drive of road coming and going from our place.. She got the Forester in 2009 and not long after that the county put in a road that ends here at the base of the drive way... The driveway is still a problem for the Fit but if I am very slow and careful It's ok.
