What did you do to your GE fit today?
Finally got around to checking tire pressures on my 2 week old 2012 base AT Fit: All were at 27 from the dealer (as I don't believe they all lost 5 lb in 2 weeks). Increased to 36 all around.
Enjoyed 90 miles with new tinting (15% behind B pillar, and a windshield bar) that were installed yesterday. Returned to tint shop for them to replace rear mirror they had broken. (They took it off to put on the windshield bar tint, and it broke when they folded a rear seat down on top of it.) Hey, sh*t happens, they were up front about it, got a new one from dealer, and now I have a spare mirror (with a broken retainer clip that holds ball in socket.)
Still enjoying my choice of a FIT over a Kia Soul.

What my wife is doing w/Fit today...
Oh, and my wife just left for Target in the FIT, second time she's driven it, first solo trip.
I have a handicap placard (stroke) and get to park in wide blue spots. She doesn't. I asked her to "park far away from anyone", hoping to avoid door dings just yet.
I think she will love it...after all her driving heritage started with VW Beetles in the 60s, and 10 years ago a Golf, so she's used to something smaller than the Ford Explorer or Lincoln Town Car, her last 2 vehicles. I hope not too much, as I don't want this to suddenly become hers and me get the 2002 Explorer, even though I do like that too.
And I hope my use of wide blue spots stays the inevitable door dings for a long time to come.

I don't have any problems with the stock wheels...in fact given the
Large number of folks in the this forum who have changed wheels, the
Stock wheels have perhaps achieved a certain level of uniqueness
I did come within a few seconds of pitching the OEM tires for the
Kumho Ecsta 4x 205/50R16 but my penurious nature prevents me from pitching
a set of tires with less than 1000 miles.

Jerry just tell us you are cheap - lol I am the same way about replacing wheels. They are just too expensive here in Canada. As my wife says you can't see them when driving. Yes but Dear.......
finally debadged the FIT
after that I got bored and thought about fixing/refinishing the worn out FIT rubber mats. I thought about plastidip since I have a can left but thought about something more durable which lead me to this 1 QT Black Tire Paint - m. e. MILLER tire beats buying a new one.

your thoughts...
Ordered up a couple new batteries, 1 strictly for circuit use (6lbs) and the other a daily (15lbs). Both the exact same dimensions and from Braille. Depending on how the 6lb does, it may end up as the daily.

mofo's... check my blog for picts.
