What did you do to your GE fit today?
Hey what's up bro!? I'm down just let me know!
You can feel the difference for sure, but the car is super loud LOL! I'm almost sure I will get pulled over in the near future.
humm... no idea on the hitch, but potenza has one installed on his car, i think.
for me, retorqued up the 09's lugs (snow set) and moved the sport wheels into storage. yah, not very exciting.
but i did drive my '12 GE to and from work which was fun.

Same questions Rick! It's been awhile we should meet up soon for a photoshoot or something.
Also, Jin, you have the downpipe already right? Any major difference with just that?
I have to agree. Such a random color, especially on the fuel door. Atleast you can peel it off

Photoshoot would be nice!
whew... I just spent the last three hours changing burning out headlights.
but in my defense, the first half hour was actually getting myself home with some food and eat. then spent who knows how long clearing the garage enough to pull my Fit in and dawdled with untangling my extension cord (good god, why did I buy such a long cord).
Eventually, I got around to actually working on the headlight. unmounted the old HID bulb and ballast, installed the new bulb and ballast and added/zip-tied the relay to go with it (the old one didn't use a relay).
Initially, the passenger side's aim was funky and thought about leaving it as is. But then, I took a quick lap around to see how the view was. decided it wasn't so good on that side and had to mess with it. I think it just didn't seat properly. Once I adjusted it... it's quite bright (both sides). I think I got the 55 watt pair and not the 35 watt.
incidentally, the old bulbs were "burnt." in the pocket with the electricity arcs to generate the light, the glass surface was completely covered in, what looks like burn marks on glass. Not bad... 1 year. longest I've had any non-stock bulb last on me.
Of course, I shorted the electricity some in the process and reset everything in the car. =.=" had the air bag light on when I took the lap. my ultragauge wasn't even on (worried I burnt it out), then the check engine light came on, so I stopped halfway through my lap to shut down and restart the Fit. after fidgeting with the UG plug head, it came on and I decided to check for error codes. there were none. my guess is the lights were some sort of indicator that the Fit was doing a self-diagnostic.

Covered the alternator and battery with plastic bags. Had the filter off of the K&N Typhoon so I put a few pieces of duct tape over the opening. MAF is all inside that intake tube so it was fine.
last week i had someone back into the car while i was at work, they took off and there were no witnesses

thought i had to get a new bumper...but thanks to a little bit of plastidip and a day off work, i managed to get it looking pretty decent until the Spring when i get a new front bumper (if the winter makes it worse)

Picked up wheels from powder coating
I finally got my wheels back from powder coating yesterday. Cost was $65 each - they media blasted, removed any scuffs, and coated them in navy. They actually look a lot darker in person. Hope to get some tires on them soon and sell my 15" OEMs. I've been working on some custom center caps (I work in a machine shop). It's coming along well. Thanks to everyone here at fitfreak.net for ideas and advice.
