I like that the Megan axle back actually looks like a muffler from the back, not just a straight can, which is what you mostly see on imports. Makes me think of the Mugen twin loop or whatever.
Just checked the site myself and I can't find it either, that's weird.. But yea they might be out of stock or something-- I'm pretty sure they won't discontinue it because there seems to be a good demand for it.

And fasho! That's what I love about the oe-rs model too, the driftspec version is a straight can and it has an angle to it.

Haha! Mine will probably be the quietest aside from stock!

If you meant mine, they're depot tails from zestjdm.com; reps of the jdm tails.

yes the alarm horn is under the driver side headlight so would have to take off bumper and headlight to get to it

Oh fasho, has anyone tried to change it? I've been wondering because that's the only "weak" thing on the car now lol Don't feel like changing the whole alarm system but I'd like a nicer alarm chirp

Yeah I hate the stupid meep when I lock the car. I thought after I installed the Hellas that they would sound off when I double clicked "lock," but then I learned of that secondary horn, which I guess is the only one that beeps when you lock the car with keyless. I guess I could probably take that horn off and just splice that wire into the wire on the relay for the Hellas...next time the bumper is off I may have to do that. I don't think you have to remove the headlight to get to it though.

Me too haha-- I turned it off the chirp using the method I found somewhere here.

Yea, I don't think you need to either now-- I washed the car today and I can see the secondary alarm horn through the engine bay right under the driver's side headlight I think it would just be easier to take it out if the bumper was out or maybe use the foglight port to get to it.

I'm plannin' on checking if the plug matches my dad's civic-- and maybe my friend's accord. Would be nice if it's plug and play just like the first horn haha.

I replaced both the main and alarm horn with the low tone accord horn (the exact part number is floating around here somewhere) and its plug and play for both. The only little thing you have to do is loosen a nut on the back of the horn so you can turn the bracket. That's it. You want to turn it to get there horn opening to face down so it doesn't collect water. Also removing the bumper is enough to get at it. It'll be sitting there right in your face. You should for sure get that low tone horn. Now I don't feel like a loser when I lock my car

You can use the same low tone accord horn for both the main horn and alarm horn.
Here's the part # 38100-STK-A02 so just get two of those. My dealership actually had two in stock and if I remember correctly it was around $10 a piece.

Maybe this only applies to Canadian fits, but when I changed the main horn to the accord one, my lock beep also became low. Meaning I only bought one horn and it changed both. Maybe honda cheaped out and only used one horn in the cdn version, this is the benefit though lol.

It wasn't today, but over the past two days (axel fell out, hence the long time), installed my function & form type 2 coilovers and lowered my '10 BBP with the help of clumsychristian and j1nNju1ce. Also replaced the drivers side mirror that some idiot decided to smash with a wine bottle last week. Pics will be up later this week when my new wheels come in and are installed!

No, it's because yours is not the sport model. The security system had the separate horn.

There's no security system even on the sport. If you meant keyless entry, that's what mine came with as well, and when I press lock twice it uses the low horn. There's no secondary meep horn behind the headlight like I've read others have.

There is a Honda security system on the sport model, check the sport specs, I have the second horn under the driver's side headlight

Well it was yesterday actually, but took the Fit back over to Sodegaura Forest in Chiba for some sessions. Only did 3 30 min sessions, my A050s are becoming slicks and the standing water that was forming from the melting snow at parts that were critical had me hydroplaning a bit in the 3rd session which saw my times 6+ seconds slower. Was going to throw on my street tires, but unfortunately I picked up a screw in one on the way over.

Took her to my buddies shop today, we changed pads, rotors and did a bleed on my brake fluid.

Its going in the collision shop wednesday to fix the damage the deer caused. It will be in the shop a total of 12 days.

Super-fantastic!!!
I wish I could run my car over there, on some of those circuits.

I gotta check my right rear this week... might have something, a quick look didn't show anything, but it's slowly losing air. Might have to take it off, and check more closely, hopefully a simple plug fix.

Not sure about your (CDN versions) lock horns, but you should've also noticed your newer Accord horn is lower (dB level), than your stock GE8 one was.
The Accord horn is technically not louder than our GE8 horn, but the deeper tone (frequency in Hz) makes it seem louder.
There was a post about this, but due to the op's stance in this community, it didn't get much attention... https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...cord-horn.html

Connor, why you think I went with the JDM Honda Access Bosch Euro horns...
Hopefully the freeze this week will be it, and temps can rise up again so I can install these mods.

Yeah, I've read that it's about 10 db lower. But still sounds loud enough in practice. The lower pitch makes the car sound bigger and gives it a little more presence when honking at others. I've noticed that people tend to respond faster when I honk if they're not paying attention to green lights etc. or I could be imagining it, but in either case it's still nice to not have that meep meep sound.

Those Bosch horns sound awesome , but was feeling lazy and cheap so I just went with the PnP accord one. Hopefully you get a chance to install that and your other stuff soon!

We just hit another deep freeze ourselves, -30 this morning.. Fun times, glad the car still started.
