I talked to Spencer over instant chat on the Bean Garage website and he told me that the PVC extra material should fit. Maybe he's full of beans?

He also said that 1 square meter should be enough for front and rear panel fabric replacement. It's free shipping so if it isn't enough, then I'll just order more.

Black3sr, you really think there is no way to make the PVC work?

Yah I read your posts (way back when... lol)... not 100% sure if the PVC would work or not, but I think it can be made to work if it's thin/pliable/stretchable enough. (just my opinion since I haven't tried it yet)

I saw the threads with the "Recaro" door fabric... it's just not for me though.
I'm leaning towards leather, even though that's usually thicker than PVC. There's places that sell them in different thicknesses/styles, but the problem is the minimum order quantity. Was thinking of going perforated to match the other leather goods I already have.... might look in to Alcantara.

1 sq. meter, seems like it'll just barely make it... I think. I would've estimated more, but I didn't measure the panels yet.

I had rubbing with 215/45 on them. That was with Tanabe DF210 (F1.3/R1.8). I had fenders rolled already once I switched to 205/40 so I can't tell you anything about stock but I was maxed out on coilovers with them and there's room enough to run spacers.
You should be good, it'll probably only rub on hard cornering/bumps. Most mod you'll have to make if you do rub is cutting the fender liner up top where it touches the fender, or tucking it in the metal tabs it clips to.

I appreciate it! Anytime, just make sure you get 205/40 or 195/45 if you do get those xxr's.

Running on 4 hours of sleep and coming home from finals at school, and after a long hot day I just wanted some peace and quiet.

Anyways-- enjoyed my head unit coming home, it did wonders to the quality. Now planning to get a sub from my friend and maybe speakers later on
I hate rattling high pitched exhausts. What I hate the most is how some of these dumb ass people in fixed up cars rev up on anyone. They mess it up for everyone in the honda scene. I have a db8 and almost always get revved on by other cars. Hard to enjoy you car with these pests rolling around.

I feel you bro. It sucks because there's so many of "these" guys that the whole ricer thing has become a stereotype. I can't blame the haters but I just want to be respected lol

Well I could not get the vinyl to go into the depression and over the hump and lay flat without wrinkles at the points shown by arrows. Maybe someone else can make the vinyl work. Just be careful taking the old material off as you can re-use it if necessary.

Here is another thread on the install -

Thanks for the link Black3sr. I can see what you mean about it not conforming to the bends. I'm still going to give it the ole' college try though! The material should be here in a few days as I just got the tracking number.

Installed my Progress RSB. Thanks cjecpa.

I can't report on the performance as I immediately went out and loaded up 200 lb at the feed store.

Dunno about his, but my Cusco rear bar mounts further back then the progress bar, and it took me 10 minutes. 5 of those minutes were spent finding a jack, lifting the car, and cleaning the bottom of the spring seat to find the holes lol

Anybody else have to completely remove their front end to change the halogen headlight bulbs to HID?

Fuck new cars and cramped space and complexity. This would have been a 5 min job in a 90s honda!

His install and yellow tinted fogs today

HIDs took about 15 minutes to isntall, and that was including a battery relay harness.

I did when I had them to run the relay harness and hide the ballast. I did not want the stuff just scattered in the engine bay.
