Buddy played around with some 30 second exposures at night and wanted to share some of the pics

 

Just finished replacing both front tires, and while I took the right front tire out,
I also change the shim behind the A/C Compressor clutch.
The A/C Compressor clutch start slipping, so I replace the 0.5mm shim with
a combination of 0.1mm shim and 0.2mm shim so total 0.3mm shim.
This help the gap change between 0.65mm to around 0.48mm,
within the specified gap range of 0.35mm to 0.65mm.

2 months ago, I went to A/C shop and they told me I need to replace the whole compressor... because the A/C clutch have problem and if I replace just the clutch it will cause leak later... they want something like $1,250 including install and it is not even Honda original compressor...yeah right...

after I study the A/C compressor,
turn out even if I need to replace the whole A/C clutch it is not that hard...
plus most likely this time only shim adjustment will make it work fine again...

will test it tomorrow

As for me, washed the Fit today, changed the oil and continued to remove parts. Today was trailer hitch, tanabe exhaust, Injen intake (yesterday) and both Cusco lower front braces.

Car is so quiet now.

 

Change my REAR disk brake pads yesterday... with another EBC Green Stuff pads (Painted yellow)...
Rotate rear tires too...
Its amazing that the Front Brembo brake pads still very thick but the rear disk brake one run out faster...
The EBC Green Stuff must be very soft pads... which is ok,...
because I rather sacrifice the pads than the custom rear rotor...

Tried to program TPMS after changing front tires with new tires using my HIM tools today
but fail because turn out I need to have ATEQ activation/wake up tools... oh well... need to buy more tools...

Also I pick up my 2 gauge pods from the upholstery shop today...
YELLOW Stitching as usual

This 2 gauge pods will be for the Defi Advance RS EGT gauge and also for AEM X-Series Volt Gauge (currently ordered from JEGS),
I also order the new AEM X-Series UEGO A/F Gauge also from JEGS
to replace my older AEM UEGO (Non X-Series) that have one bar on the LED display malfunction...

Next step is to save some money to order 3 more Defi Advance RS gauge (Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Fuel Pressure)...

Here are the 2 gauge pods with yellow stitching, they will be installed on the lower dashboard just below the steering wheel (left and right):

 

That yellow and black is always nice. Geez, how many gauges do you expect to have? I know you have that 3-cluster, then these 2...are there more!?

Defi Advance BF Water Temp Gauge
Defi Advance BF Boost Pressure Gauge
AEM UEGO (old model) will be replace soon by AEM X-Series UEGO

The 2 new pod will be for
AEM X-Series Volt Meter and
Defi Advance RS EGT Gauge (Exhaust Gas Temperature)

I am going to buy 3 more gauges, it will be installed just below
my half DIN Sony RSX-GS9 head unit,
occupying the other half DIN opening just below the Sony...
This gauges will be:
Defi Advance RS Oil Pressure Gauge,
Defi Advance RS Oil Temperature Gauge,
Defi Advance RS Fuel Pressure Gauge.

So total will be 8 gauges

note that the Defi Advance RS and AEM X-Series gauges are 52mm diameter, that is why triple Advance RS can be installed on the half DIN opening below the head unit...
while the Defi Advance BF gauges are 60mm

Removed more parts, LED interior lights, put all the stock stereo equipment back (speakers/head unit).

 

Installed 3 baffle discs from car chemistry in my yonaka cat back exhaust. Dropped the db level considerably. My girlfriend is very happy with it (She hated it before).

 

Did a few things this weekend

- Rays Volk Racing Monster 16"x7
- Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 205/55 R16 91V
- Muteki Super Tuner Nut open
- Changed all brake pads Delphi
- K&N drop in panel filter

Bought these rims since I managed to get them for a decent price, even though I was a bit unsure about the looks etc. but I'm kind off liking it more and more though.

Hopefully if I find time this week I'll change the oil and oil filter.
I'm keen in buying an axle-back exhaust system...found a GReddy Trust Comfort sports Oval but shipping is pricey...

 

Been working on this project for over a year now and had kept getting side tracked, but things are back on track and moving along nicely. Within the next few weeks this should finally be done. I'll do my best for a detailed write up and what's all involved to do it.

Full part out on my Fit motor once this is done. Sprintex supercharger, t1r everything and stock parts too.

 

Cant wait to see this. Hopefully the electrical issues can be sorted out.

Looks like brian at hasport is putting a new long block into a fit and they seems to be on the verge of getting it working completely

 

Removed the Mugen Short shifter and turns out I have the skunk2 short shifter adapters too...lol

 

Yanked out the old cracking plastic steering wheel and replaced it with a nice leather one from a wrecked '13 in a junkyard.

 

This morning I place an order using Buyee to buy 3 Defi Advance RS gauge (Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure and Oil Temp) at Rakuten Japan,...
hopefully the store at Rakuten had received their shipment from Defi Japan since Advance RS gauge only delivered/produced 2 times a year (February and August)...

Also,
I am going to be busy this weekend:
1. will tweak, grind, cut the Navigation Trim and the plate to hold theFit the Sony RSX-GS9 head unit and the Defi Advance RS Gauge
2. remove 4 seat belts (accept the rear center one) and ship it to vendor in East Coast to change the color of the webbing to Porsche Yellow
3. change the broken paddle shifter (right side) and change the airbag bolts
4. If I am not tired, will try to install the 2 AEM X-Series Gauge to the pod and then to the lower panel under the steering wheel
5. if I am still not tired, will install The Defi Advance RS EGT gauge that I already have, and run the sensor and change some wiring for the current O2 secondary sensor...
6. If I am yet still not tired tighten the bolts for the Cusco (worry it's not the correct torque) when the exhaust shop install my HJS and also will install extra ground wire for the exhaust...
