T1R Header Review
Review:
Prior to installing the header I was concerned that this was going to be a waste of $$$$. My concern was that it only removed one cat and was the OEM pipe diameter would yield negligible responds/power results.
After driving with the T1R header for a few days now I'm very happy with the new header. The car is much more punctual; even with the post-cat inline. And the car sounds great.

In regards to doing intake/exhaust/headers....doesn't the computer just relearn? At least that was what I have read on the forum about these upgrades for our cars. Does a "tune" eliminate that?
Also...do you have another car/vehicle or you drive your track fit everyday? Love how its turning out.

I think what you're asking is: "Does the CPU compensate and negate the modifications?"
No, the "relearn" only effects air/fuel ratio under ~80% throttle. What you are calling the "relearn" is actually just your LAMBDA sensor correcting the A/F ratio back to 14.7:1 under 80% throttle in closed loop. You will increase HP with these mods.
An internal combustion engine is a large air pump.
HP EQUATION:*
More Air In + More Air Out = HP

There different types of ways to "tune". My Apexi SAFC only effects A/F ratio over 80% throttle.**
~80-100% Throttle position is open loop for the CPU. Open loop means that the CPU runs off of a predetermined "tune"/map and ignores the LAMBDA sensor. So the CPU will not adjust the A/F ratio.

*(Over simplified, but you get the idea)
**(Stand alone effect the entire throttle-band and power-band.)

Lol, I'm not saying the intake (1-4hp gain) and exhaust (1-10hp gain) are the cause of huge gains, but they do allow the engine to breather easier.

The Honda under plate does the trick without the cost ($50-$60).

Hey I really love your set up that you have. I am intrested in your big brake kit. Is it the prelude/accord that you are using or the mini rotors u had mentioned? If it's the mini rotors what the modification like?
