Any information is good information. If Canada gets the skyroof, I may have to make a trip north to buy my car.

There will be no skyroof. I was also told that there won't be paddleshifters for the 09 sport because they are essentially useless - can someone confirm this?

For the US at least, No skyroof has already been confirmed and Paddle shifters will certainly be coming back. Who told you that?

Nevermind I mis-understood my car salesman. Out of curiosity does anyone know what the wheel size of the new Fit's are ?

Blue Sensation on order

I just ordered a Manual Blue Sensation Fit Sport.

I'm looking forward to actually knowing the MSRP and MPG rating

As an aside, did any of you notice in the interior shots of the 2009 Fit that the door handles appear to be chrome? I was thinking of ordering the brushed aluminum handles from AJ (in Canada to boot) but when I took a closer look at the pictures, I'd swear that they look to be chrome vs. all black for other years.

Whoops I meant to ask about bolt pattern.

And FCgirl all the info that the salesperson told me was already stated in this thread. I'll be test driving one next month.

I too am in for one. I pre-chose the Taffeta white w/black interior sport model. It will come with a MT.

I'm so anxious.. I really can't wait to hand in my 200k mile 98 accord. I've had it since '98. It is time to put that thing to rest! lol.

This dealer or that dealer??

I put a pre order in for a Blue Sensation Sport, and I'm supposed to get it in Nov/Dec (They only have SSM coming in Oct). The place I put a deposit down at, is probably the best Honda dealership around. The only thing is, that there is another dealership near me that is going to get a Blue Sensation, and they expect in Sept/Oct.

The dealer I like will give me $300 off since I'm a previous customer.
You get 4 free oil changes.
First ding repaired free (within 3 months.)
Free wipers 2 times a year for the life of the car.
and they extend the warranty to 48 months.
They have been a honda dealership since 1964 and sell Honda's full line of products (scooters, generators, motorcycles)

The dealer that will have the car in Sept/Oct gives you 0.

That is a pretty darn good offer. Any idea what the interest rate will be? I'm probably going to order mine, in Canada, tomorrow but the only thing that worries me is the interest rate on a new 2009 Honda Fit

In Canada the current Honda rate for 60 months is 3.9%. My dealer told me to expect around a 2-3% increase on the 2009 Honda Fit.

I put 300 down with no strings attached. Sounded like the dealer doesn't plan on charging more than MSRP but softly stated that there isn't any wiggling room for less than msrp, which I'm fine with.

Here's the best news I've gotten all week... I found out shortly ago that the built date for my car is 9/10!
