Thanks, I will never be the type that doesn’t put items to use properly. I know not all have that mindset, but honestly I don’t see the point in modifying a vehicle and not putting the parts to work as they were intended.

Doug, NOTHING!!! No replacement. One of the reasons besides others in possibly ditching the Fit, I just don’t use it the way I had been. It sits more than it is driven, might need to leave Japan in the coming year if I decide to stay working with the Government, unable to bring it stateside because of stupid laws. Inspection is coming up in November and don’t really feel like paying that cost into not knowing if I can stay (more stupid Government policies about being overseas) here. Japanese wouldn’t buy it, American’s that come over here typically look to spend $1000 and then try to sell 3 years later for $2000 because the car has a new 2 year inspection done. My co-worker said put it back close to normal and then sell it. Not worth it to me because still wouldn’t get hardly anything for it. I don’t mind giving good deals, but I have no desire to let somebody rape me. And why nothing, the Vezel does me fine, I get my kicks with karting. Maybe if I stay here, I’ll look into getting my own versus using just rental karts, but even with that it is still a blast and if shit breaks I need not care.

Sad to see an absolutely amazing build go.

You definitely raised the bar for anyone with a Fit.

Best of luck to you in the future!

Long time away for me from here and ONLINE in general. No real update on the Fit, it sits in Japan, somewhat slightly stripped parked at the house and I moved back to the US in mid-November. Prior to leaving Japan, put a deposit on a '20 Si Coupe in white. Flew into Atlanta on the 14th of November, flew down to Jacksonville on the 16th and drove back that evening to Atlanta. Already have begun modding the Civic slightly, Hondata FlashPro, AWE Tuning race exhaust, PRL Cobra CAI with race MAF, Enkei RPF1 and some other stuff that I'm awaiting to be delivered. This turbo L15B is a nice little package. Definitely would be quite fun in a Fit chassis with its much less weight compared to the FC3 chassis. The only negative, lacking revs, 6400rpms come way too fast on boost, but being what it is, it was never intended to be rev hungry, though it sure would be nice to rev to at least 7000.

Good to see from you again, glad the new ride is fun. Your Fits inspired many!

Simon,

How goes it? Yeah I jumped off Facebook quite awhile ago. You can find me on IG if you have it under cg555sd.

The Fit has been sort of stripped, the kind of built engine, trans, ECU, suspension, cage and brakes are left.
