Thank you. It just needs some balls of the meka tuned variety.

In Japan working for the man known as Aunt Samantha taking care of a medical facility's network.

Really love your fit 555. One of my favorites on here.

I heard that in Japan if you want to keep your car past a certain amount of years, you gotta pay a crazy amount of taxes right? That's why people don't usually keep them more than 5 years or 100000km. Hope you won't be giving up the fit because of that!

That's a myth generated by I have no idea who from whenever. The thing is more like this, new cars have their initial inspection good for the first 3 years, after those 3 years the same inspection is needed every 2 years. Long ago, it was every year for cars over 10 years old, if my memory servers me correctly, that was changed back in '94 to no matter the age it's every 2 years, though that also depends on the number plate of the vehicle. If you look at my plate, it has a 500, if that happened to be an 800, I would need an inspection every year.

Most Japanese would rather have the new new than drive their "old" vehicle and have 3 years of no inspections. It's why when new cars are released here the first few months the number sold is quite high.

I honestly never get tired of seeing your car or your great looking front bumper!

Ever thought about running the Spoon Aero mirrors on your setup?

Love the car. I swear I'll run that rear bumper and J's diffuser one day. They no longer make a carbon one anymore am I correct?

Cocowheat, they don't offer it any longer, but the mold exists and I'm sure they would if one pays for it. Just like my hood, they didn't offer the full carbon model in the catalog, but I asked Murakami-san if was possible to get and he said no problem. First Molding is their carbon parts maker, well except for the wing as that is handled by, my mind just went completely blank on the company's name, but they are the big player when it comes to wings here.

Waizzz, I thought about it, but without the turn signals I could be ticketed here. I asked Spoon about offering them with signals as they showed a CR-Z before with signals built in, but they never did give me a clear answer. I could cutout the fender and put in some S2000 blinkers or something as such, but I would rather not go that route.

Definetly going to ask when I'm ready.

It's also weird that the USDM model doesn't have side markers either, but we still didn't get the blinkers on the mirror.

Yeah didn't understand that either, all I could think is that the headlights are up high and the blinker resides up top so kind of can be seen?

The blinkers arn't on top though. They're more towards the center, but whatever lol. Doesn't matter for me anyways. I have the JDM power folding mirrors and signal anyways.

Yeah you are right, I'm confusing with the parking light aren't I? :P Shows how much I pay attention to the front of the car.

Right, this is what I remember hearing from my relatives living there. And "old" is also considered 100000km or something like that lol. I wonder what happens to all the "old" cars, I know in Canada we can import them after 15 years but do they just sit around in the meantime...

In any case I know you aren't like most Japanese so good to know you won't be turning over the fit over anytime soon

Totally understandable, I didn't know that the indicators are standard in Japan.

They claim a very slight power improvement, I have no idea if they will really, but was willing to try. Sidenote to that and noted in the What Did You Do to Your GE Today thread, 3 of my 4 plugs were loose, as in I threaded them out by hand. Recommend checking your plugs.

The Cusco front pillow ball mounts also arrived, but won't install till next week when the tranny is pulled out for a rebuild. Also having the diff rebuilt at the same time. Chose to change everything internally on the trans minus the MFactory final.

And waiting on Cusco front and rear stabilizers to arrive, Wednesday next week supposedly. Ready to get back out on circuit, it's been 6 weeks already.

I've noticed that the spark plugs on my Fit take very little effort to break loose.. I have used a product on an air cooled VW similar to what you are installing on coils.. You might find that you need to use colder spark plugs with them.

Hey T_C, how goes it? i'm already using a 24 Denso equivalent to an 8 NGK because of the J's reflash, if it wants another step colder I'll be shocked.

I have had a set of IK24s waiting to go in when ever I get all of the stuff I keep buying, installed.. I have to go into town today to pick up Innovative track mounts.. I'm waiting for an oil cooler and Clutch Masters FX350 212mm clutch and aluminum flywheel kit.. I don't think that the stock stuff would be able to handle the power increase I anticipate getting with all of the other stuff I have put on and have yet to put on.. The clutch was slipping after I'd put on a set of 205-50-16 all season tires... I'm getting to old to be riding a 1500cc Vulcan sidecar rig again this summer. An hour at 80MPH in 100F degree weather wipes me out these days..

So finally after 1.5 years of driving on a beat mission even going to quite a few circuit days, my mission has been fully refreshed and while open had the differential rebuilt as well. Also while the mission was out, installed the Cusco front stabilizer and pillowball upper mounts.

It feels so good having 2nd locked in versus doing a little dance and 3rd going into gear on a downshift with zero issue. Just got it back today, so need to break the diff in again, 30 minute session of figure eights at about 20km/h will accomplish that. Also need to check my alignment, think my toe is very slightly off.
