cool to watch people in japan... love the culture, although the food looks challenging even for those used to it!

Funny you asked...

It's been I guess 9 months since these were purchased, but car wasn't back till mid-year, but finally got around to bringing them to a shop to finish.

Really happy I went with the red, didn't choose a color code, told the shop to surprise me with a bright red. Just installed them about 15~20min ago. The weather cooperated and knocked it out before the Rousey fight, so a win-win. The mirrors were 992g to the stock 2408g, so a 3.1lb diet. hahaha

I guess one could say I have a CE28 fetish...

The J's 6 pot just wanting some face time.

Getting ready to swap over to the CEs with AD08Rs from the Advan RZs with Rivals.

The #slowbeast posing.

I agree. Love the CE28, I've been looking to trade my TE37's for a set of CE28's. No luck yet. Are they less expensive over there?

CE28N's are super expensive. Nice!

I never cared for their color. It's just that they are so........LIGHT.

Really about the color, which color the bronze? I like their bronze, but I think I like the bronze color that Advan uses more.

Yeah, the bronze color. It's a moot point because I'd still get them regardless. The size 14's I wanted were over $500 a piece. I just couldn't get the 6.5lbs a piece number out of my head though (still can't). Makes me keep wondering what the difference in acceleration would be with those. If I find them used, I'll probably give in.

You and I both...unbelievable as in the 2nd session, I forgot to hit the record button on the GoPro remote. So upset with myself as I ran faster than last year in a half wet/dry track compared to full dry last year. The first session I have some video, but the times were 10+ seconds slower than the 2nd session as it was pretty much wet and I ran the A050s because it was not really raining, but the track never really dried from the overnight deluge. I might still put something together, just a mash up, because don't feel like uploading a 1 hour long video of a slow car around Suzuka. hahaha, well it was only able to get to about 183km/h (113.5mph) on the 2 straights, but that is about 11~12km/h faster than last year, so it is definitely making more power after the money spent on the engine, still not fast enough to compete with the class above, the fastest in that class are like 20~25 seconds/lap faster. Best I pulled was a 2:49.xxx (can't recall the remainder), though that netted me 3rd in class (just .024 from 2nd and a large 1.3 seconds from 1st and 22nd overall out of 54 entries).

Haven't posted in this thing in awhile, somewhat recent updates...

Picked up a new pair in red and just keeping the black on standby for if/when I feel like toning down the interior some.

Today at lunch, the weather decided to let the sun come out to play and snapped a few quick photos...

Got some new pads from Seidoya, RM551+ for all around the other day, waiting on some new Dixcel rear rotors to be delivered and I have had DBA Series4000 rotors (for the Mini JCW Edition) waiting for upfront for awhile now. Really liked the feeling that the RM551+ gave me up front when I went to the J's/Seidoya 6 piston caliper and I decided to use them in the rear as well instead of the PMu HC+ that I have used exclusively for over a decade going back to my old 5R Integra.
