Nothing at all. Still driving around on a fuxored tranny. 2nd is shot from the last circuit day, Honda here will not sell a full tranny and unsure how heavy and large the full tranny from Honda there in the US is to ship here. Was thinking of trying to go to the 6 speed tranny, but since Honda will not sell and not able to source one in a scrap yard, not looking too good.
It is still engaging, but really wants to jump out, so have just been skipping it for the most part. Too aggressive on downshifts at the last circuit and gave the synchros a workout it seems.
^Oh I forget you guys have all those short courses out there, wish we had more of those here (besides go-kart tracks lol).
Break the box open and replace some synchros, shorten some gears while you're at it?

Hey SexyDrive, could you post up some new pics outdoors with your fancy new bonnet?
I am receiving one soon, I just have to choose the style and seeing as I have the supercharger I was thinking of something with vents to reduce the heat soak I get.
Thanks! love your GE btw, I look up to it

Nothing new, still running with a bit jerked 2nd gear. Went out yesterday to Sodegaura Forest Raceway over in Chiba. Friend and I went to get an annual license, but couldn't resist doing just 1 30min session.
Honestly, no idea if it does or not. If it does, it doesn't at all affect me when out on circuit. I did 2 years ago buy the Omni Power CMC and it still just sits in the box it came in collecting dust. I might eventually get around to putting it on.
The only way I know for sure if the 2 are different would be comparing part numbers.

Another video, this time taking down a Porsche. :P This shouldn't at all happen, but it did because Porsche driver doesn't really drive his car to anywhere close to its potential, maybe it was his limit. Regardless...
And my running mate that day...

Ended up being about 1.2 seconds faster than my friend in his Roadster. Tires played a part in that, I run with Advan A050s and he was using the new BFG Rivals.

Went back over to Sodegaura on the 30th of November, did 4 30 minute sessions and this lap was my fastest of the day during the 3rd session. Almost 4 seconds faster than when I came here on the 31st of August and did just 1 30 min session. No changes to the car and still running with a battered and bruised tranny. Changed the mission oil out the day before and stuck to the magnet was about a 1 1/4" sliver of metal. It held up fine, had a few moments of not wanting to get into 2nd on the downshift, but overall it held up and for sure it will be rebuilt the end of this month and possibly upping the compression to 12.5:1 on the motor.
Ohhh yeah, while there, Tatsura Ichishima (founder of Spoon Sports) was out there with 2 of his guys putting a new Fit 3 RS to work. They already had it outfitted with their full sussy, carbon bonnet, their 4 pot brakes up front, side mirrors, their newest wheels (too heavy for my tastes) and some other minor parts. Ichishima said that the new engine and tranny are SOOOOO much better than the 2nd gen L15 which was an improvement over the first gen L15. The car was quite quick out on circuit, not sure if I was faster or not as times are kept by individuals and we were only out there together for maybe 2, but for sure the first session and I did let him pass me as I was still getting a feel for the tranny and the circuit.
