I believe I used the standard adhesive mount that came with the radio. It's cold out, and I don't want to walk to the garage, but I'm sure it was the standard mount. Peel off the paper and press it onto the cleaned dash. I've used this type of mount for GPS, and they remove easily with no damage to the car.

EDIT: Yes, looking at the picture now, I see that I had to use the standard mount because that's the dock that holds the radio.

QUESTION:
What's that RED wire coming out of the center console's right side? Did you drill a hole? Was that to power/ground the add'l lighter socket? - rttby

Those yellow fog lights look nice. Are those film covers or replace fog lights? I'd like to do the same thing to my fit if you're willing to share the details.

Ordered the Cadillac Four Note Horns from an eBay seller last night. Received email this morning saying that they are already shipped. Discussion and sound sample for the horns can be found in the "Louder Horn" thread. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ml#post1283529

Happy Holidays all!

Honda has started advertising the HR-V here, think it might be badged a Vezel there but if it is built on the Jazz/Fit platform then I am looking forward to the weekend when a member finds one at the wreckers and swaps in the 1.8L engine and 5 lug 4 wheel disk brakes...

Silver, you can see the part number on the box photo [08U88-T5A-010A], I googled it and it seems that a front door pair of armrests costs around USD 80 at Amazon.co.jp

Please understand I fully support anything one decides to do with a vehicle. In fact, I am jealous I cannot keep up. Some of these cars are beautiful.

I am keeping my carpet mats for when i decide to replace the Fit. Nice beautiful floor mats are impressive when one climbs into a vehicle for the first time.

Figure I'd share on this thread as well. Much of the detail is on my thread, but seeing as this one gets the most exposure I felt it appropriate.

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/3rd-...ack-pearl.html

I also do a great deal of video on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/xboxer1985

I'll be towing a 5x8 utility trailer for various things. I installed a full 7 way trailer harness complete with time based electric brake controller. Album is here: Unofficial Honda FIT Forums - Bassguitarist1985's Album: 2015 Fit EX 6MT: Trailer Wire harness, lighting & electric trailer brakes

Here are a few pictures. My trailer is being custom built and won't see it till February. I'll provide more detail then on how it drives and any special accommodations I needed to make it work. The one in the pic is a 5x10 @ around 1200 pounds empty I tried out to make sure the FIT could handle. I had no issues other than its a bit acceleration challenged.

I've also installed heated side mirrors on my EX 6MT, when in the USA the EX-L is the only trim with this option available. Cost was under $100 bucks in parts.

Album is here: Unofficial Honda FIT Forums - Bassguitarist1985's Album: EX-L Heated Side Mirrors adapted to EX 6MT 2015 Honda Fit

A few other small mods such as the 2nd LED light in the cargo area I'll be doing this week. I gotta say this forum has made me spend money faster on my FIT than I could have ever imagined. Great ideas for mods and accessories on this forum.

Happy Holidays to all!

Congratulations. You wouldn't happen to have more details and pictures of the stainless door sill scuff plates?

Maxair, Can you give a wider shot of your front with the red emblem from just a bit farther away? Also, did you do the rear too?

Since I had completed about 1'4 of installation before I realized a problem they were kind enough to send me the (hopefully) the correct size. They have no size on their chart for the 2015 Fit. I will post on wheelcover forum here how the new cover works. Bill

Reply: Could it be that the LX has a different sized wheel???? 14 1/4 x 3 7/8 is exact for my LX. Measured before ordering and its been on the car since a month ago. Let us know how the replacement works out. - rttby
It could be my 69 year old eyes on measuring, but the 14 1/2 X 4 cover fits better. I used old string, just too impatient struggling with this and skipped some holes. Does not look as good but works well for me. Goes well with my red/black seat covers. I have an LX.
