I highly recommend you get the AFE
Er.... that is actually an increase in fuel consumption...
Less mileage for 1L of fuel

No the connection from the throttle body to the filter housing needs to in clamped from the filter you can easily twist the fittings or access to remove and replace the filter I will see if I can get a couple pictures sometime soon it’s not as fast as the stock system but it’s quite easy
like stupid easy

Was going to say the same..... i wanna know if there was a SUBSTANTIAL increase in whp/tq, cuz almost $400.00$ for an intake assy. has to be worth it....

Did a comparison between the oem and afe were made AT THE DYNO .....
also, i have the oem assy. with the k&n filter and sumole air duct, rv6 header, straight through "b" pipe and tanabe medallion axle back..... what other mod do you have to obtain this results......

for the price of a ktuner .... vs an intake ... I would personally spend that money on a ktuner. thats just my opinion though. I am pretty sure that afe sounds awesome, and provides wonderful throttle response.

Precisely my point....

This...i got on #GK5

RV6 429.00
Tanabe medallion 349.00
KTuner 649.00
Sumole air cooler 150.00 (something like that, dont recall)
K&N drop in filter 40.00
"B" pipe.... went cheap onnthis one to test it out... 160.00
#BuddyClub CR-Z short shifter... bought from #AxionIndustries
#Acuity shifter bushings, pedal relocation bracket

That's where i feel the afe is a bit steep on price....

FWIW:

I went from a sumole air ram duct + k&n drop in filter ---> to an aem intake --> to a weapon r intake ---> and now back to the oem air box / resonator deleted / k&n drop in filter .... and I can honestly say, the difference in "power" is minimal. car still feels peppy ... without the intake. ktuner ... ftw.

bonus = my mpg is good again ... and the sound is still decent / sporty ish

HKS super air filter

Today I've installed an HKS super air filtre. Everything looks good like that, with a tad more sporty intake sound.

Knob took 2 seconds. I will be installing the shift boot collar this weekend as well as buddy club steering wheel.

Drove with the buddy club seat and had an issue with it. It seems to have excess material on the right side right by my ribs. Took it around the track today and I already have a bruise. Decided to install a Ferrari seat we had around the shop for the meantime to see what buddy club says about the seat.

No, I am not giving it away!?. Waiting to hear back from buddy club. I would like to exchange it and put it in the passenger seat to save some weight.

Yes, Buddy Club makes seat rails for our car.
