Weathertech "Cupfone".

I bought a "Cupfone" from Weathertech. Holds my phone in place in my Fit. No more knocking around in the cup holder.

Installed the front door side window deflectors in-channel rain guards, as they call 'em. Came last week, finally got around to snapping them in. Let's see, it's only taken them 5 years to come out with the front window visors, am doubting they'll even bother with rears, as the new Fit is due to be a 2020 model, yes? I like the in-channel visors, don't look like an add-on. In regards to Citown Fit's post above ^^^ , have been considering getting the phone cupholder. Have been more than happy with any weathertech product I've bought so far …. a previous set of door window visors for 4 doors on previous car, and the laser measured floor liners for my Fit ...they ain't plush, but the coverage is excellent, and the Fit ain't a "plush" type car, anyway

I just noticed weathertech finally make the door visors...only for the fronts. What interests me is that they are a flush fit.

Got my car back from the dealership and resolved my "Check Charging System" and VTC rattle issues thru extended warranty. She rides like new again!
More details on the repair summary in my build thread.

No, the Weathertechs are in-channel, not taped to the outside of the door

Yeah, I like the in-channel mounting and not just taped to the outside. And, of course, just browsing around, I see they have rear door visors available now.....bastards!!! Guess I'll be ordering a set of them,,,,,LOL….I mean, it took them this long to come out with them for a car that's been for sale since, what, late '14? early '15 at the latest? I wonder if Honda is keeping the door/window area the same on the next-gen Fit, so WeatherTechs design will hold over for several more years, otherwise it seems they're a bit late to the game with the GK visors.....but, no mind, I loved the set on a previous car, the fronts are perfect, will be getting rears soon

Thanks for the heads up! I'm debating if I should get the lighter color as I'm at 15% tints for all the side windows.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. If the police wanna hassle you, they'll hassle you over the window tint. And they fit so unobtrusively....This the second car I've had 'em on, I do like them....a lot. Got 35% on our Fit sides and rear, don't really notice the tint on the visors in place. Not to mention an illegally wide windshield tint strip that's 20%...can hardly tell when just passing the car as our fit is whatever flavor of black they call it, from the front, just looks like the roofline is lower than it is....LOL...and my tint shop says they'll remove and replace with legal for free if I get stopped. Beings the car is black with a black interior, I like to be able to leave the windows cracked in the sun to let at least a lil hot air to escape when parked and keep the rain out - the Knoxville are is like a freaking rain forest a lot of the year.

I don't know what the situation is in Canada, but in NY, checking window tint is part of the annual state inspection. Too dark, and the car doesn't pass.

No pics, waiting on the rears to arrive ….. as far as "vehicle inspections," I live in east TN....we have no inspections...not mechanical, not emissions, nothing. There are some real claptraps running around down here. They can ticket you for too dark tint, but have to be pulled over for a moving violation of some sort, it seems. I rarely see folks pulled over, to be honest. Local police actually seem to do a lot of positive stuff, helping folks change a flat, jump their cars, etc. I have no complaints about the police.....now, if they could just ticket folks for being shitty drivers, we might get some where Having been born and raised in the northeast, folks down here don't know how to drive to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic...just sayin'

Tint laws vary from province to province. Technically in Ontario, the back window and rear sides can be any darkness. The fronts however must be lighter than the rears.

In Quebec and Alberta, no tints are allowed.

I think I'll go for the lighter shade so that when I crack the window down, I can see through it somewhat.

As for the front windshield banner. I originally had mine at 12" from the top and loved it. However I've read about a ASTM line and the stock Fit windshield has 2 triangle marks that I thought was that line, so I changed it to 8" from the top. I recently replaced my windshield with an aftermarket one and the ASTM line is clearly marked at exactly 10" from the top which is where I now have my banner. I am a happy camper with this size of banner. It is a layer of black vinyl, then a layer of fake carbon fibre vinyl. No light passes through.

Technically in Ontario, the front banner cannot be lower than the front mirror. Unless the officer is 7 feet tall, even a 12" banner will not be lower than the front mirror.

Looking forward to pictures when you get the rears installed. I've been debating putting window visors, but don't really like the look of the ones that have been offered previously.

Yeah, I really like the WTs.....beings as they insert into the window channel, they look a lot more like a part of the car, as opposed to the tape ons. WeatherTech seems to be the only game around for in-channel mounting for the Fits.....finally. But, in all fairness, some other company(s) may now be making them, I gave up searching and would check WTs site every several months. I would've easily tried a competitor's version if in-channel, as that is one of my main wants is how it mounts. But am happy with the fronts, and know I'll be happy with the rears.

Drill/hand sanded an old knob i had, it had 5spd pattern, so i had to give it a little bit of love with a file first. . Then used 40, 80, 180, 220, 320, and 600 grit dry sand paper.... i love how it turned out..... was gonna give it a try up to 2500 grit... but liked the brushed look with the 600!!! 🤪😬

Wrapped the rear “reflectors”

Close up idk but they look good from this distance. Just wanted my Fit to stand out a bit more.
