It's interesting that little cutout in the back. I'd be curious to see what the Intake Ambient Temp would be with that design. I wonder coupled with a larger chamber if that's where the added intake noise is too
it actually comes with a rubber plug for that cutout. i used it of course. i guess u can run it without.
RYU139, by any chance do you have a device to measure IAT's? Like a ScanGauge2 or something similar? I'm too interested to see
for my weapon r intake, which is fully exposed to engine bay heat .... my IAT's are usually about 10 degrees hotter than outside. IIRC, my sumole ram duct + oem air box had about the same IAT's give or take 1-2 degrees ....
Pulled the trigger yesterday. Got the extreme low kit. They're going to take 3 to 4 weeks to get here cuz it's a special order and they're made in Taiwan and the factory is closed for Chinese new year. My race is 2,3 March... tick tick tick. The guys at customer service knew Seamus from TCS, and so I called him up to chat. He said these cars love additional caster. Unfortunately he hasn't got his hands on a 3G mule to make adjustable plates yet. I'm going to take some measurements and see if they're the same as the 2G. And if they are,... it's going to be front end surgery time soon! Any of ya'll that are in the Boston area please go see TCS and negotiate a deal for Seamus to make us some plates!
Drove by mine on the lot - waiting for me to pick it up on Monday. 2019 DX with the manual transmission and no - NO - options. Not even air conditioning. I can't believe my wife is as excited about this as I am....
...wanted a Fit since they came out - still regret not getting one instead of the CRX eight years ago.

Ah man - meant to say CR-Z. And I think the chief reason I found it a bit disappointing was the fact that it wasn't as close to the CRX as I thought it'd be. Really nice car - but very definitely a jack of all trades, master of none. Not as quick or fun as the GTI I owned later. Not as efficient as genuinely efficient hybrids or even well designed ICE (only) cars. Lots of fun. And as the only hybrid with a stick shift available at the time - definitely unique. But I also think it was a car that was released to the public before it was 100% sorted out.
I removed the muffler yesterday! Sounds pretty cool. Start-up is sweet, idle is quite, mid-range is LOUD, top-end sounds almost OEM, drones a bit on the highway. Best part is it pops and burbles when shifting. It is a little unrefined, and the pipe ends at the axle, which is not ideal for long term. Still an interesting experiment that took 30 minutes and some shoving. No codes have come up, and I have kept the original pipe in case anything happens. I'm going to see about pricing for a custom axle back today.

What country you in where they still sell a DX? CA? That used to be the fuel efficient version right? Does that just mean AC delete ha, how much gas is that really saving?
I put the gauge on FiA and it wouldn't output anything.
another member on here discovered, you'll need to upgrade the firmware for it to work on certain model year fits. i believe 2018+ are the ones, in need of firmware

i sent it back while i had my GE for a firmware update, but scangauge said the firmware was upto date and was sent back to me.
Looking for a part number for adjustable sway bar end links
If anybody can point me toward what ya'll used, I'm pretty sure my extreme low coilover kit I ordered will need shorter end links to eliminate preload on the stabilizer bar. I just can't find a definitive set online for a 2017 fit Cheers!

Version 4.5+, which I think mine came back with 4.52 installed. This gave me the additional functionality. I also had to go through and properly set up the Xgauge for what I was looking for. Also, now that I am sharing this link, it appears they may have added more stuff that I can look into. https://www.scangauge.com/support/x-gauge-commands/honda-acura/
This is not a very good video since it was maybe the first day I had the ScanGauge2 working: https://youtu.be/_axhcH5jT28

Stoked that the ScanGauge topic came up! I posted a previous post to help with info and realized ScanGauge has released a few new gauges! I just ran out to the garage and programmed them in to the Xgauge feature of the ScanGauge.
Added Barometric pressure and added it under the name BAR. You do have to imagine the decimal point, so 14.2 in the picture below.
