Went to the State Emissions Facility to get mine tested for the Emission Test. Passed within a minute with flying colors.

How's the rear fitment? Does it fill the arch? (OEM wheels look like they needs big spacers for rear fitment)

Red Honda Emblems

Installed JDM red Honda emblems😁😁😁 [From ICB Motorsport]

These genuine honda ones just have a shine and feel that ebay or knockoffs can't replicate.

not good. The offset made me have to roll the rears but I was using a pretty fat 205 maxxis tire. Also im lowered a good bit. The fronts struck out a lot too but only rubbed while racing.

yes, 35 mm offset. Which pushes them out 18mm, plus they are 1.5" wider than stock so another 3/4" further out. Basically 1.5" out. Before camber bolts up front, they really stuck out. In the rears I had to cut the felt (EX) and roll the fenders. I also put the front fender liners above the fender tabs. It still rubs on high g corners up front. I need to roll the fenders up front.

Put the SSR Type X's on after a fresh powder coat job with fresh Dunlop rubber (205/50/15). Used some Project Kics Bronze Lugs and matching valve stem caps. New Project Kics Valve Stems. Also lowered the car with H&R Springs from the GE8. No pictures of this but also installed the Spoon Sports Rearview mirror (do this mod. it so worth it).

wow I didn't know the GE8 springs fit the gk5. I wonder if the coilovers from the GE8 fit also..🤔

Actually the suspension has changed: the struts have different bump stops, and rear shocks have a longer rod and significantly different configuration of urethane bump stop and bushing that mates with the chassis. The mounting point for the rear shock in the GK is higher in the chassis, so the rod for the shock is longer to allow for the same drop and effective working length of the shock. The GE8 parts fit the GK, however I would think that the rear of the car would need to be lowered for the GE shocks to allow for the same travel of the shock and the rear end (i.e. drop). The stock springs are the same dimensions, not sure if the rate changed at all as I didn't have the means to measure them.

TL;DR the struts are essentially the same, the rear shocks for the GK can't be used on the GE8, but the opposite can work.

that would probably be my main concern. The spring rates. As far as bump stops, if you have some solid coilovers and cut the stops accordingly then when are you actually gonna hit the bump stop while driving normally
