Sorry for the multiple post.... couldnt manage to put all pics on one post....🤷🏽*♂️... easy to install, but had to whack iy 4 or 5 times to align it on the back.... ill drive it later to see if there is gonna be any complaint from wifey😬😬😬......
Nice man! I just put a hasport u70a rear mount in mine a short while ago. Massive improvement in shift feel, no more rubber band effect when engaging the clutch. What durometer bushing did u choose? Looks a bit different than mine. Definetly way more vibration at idle but i like it, reminds me more of my civic now.
for you poor folks, like me .... there is an alternative:
Impressions ..... this is a MUST DO. For those of you on the fence.... DO IT NOW and stop thinking about it. The car "feels" faster. Down shifts feel more crisp, the car over all exhibits less slop and wobble, the car feels more "sporty". NVH slightly increased .... like during idle and when AC is on .... but it is most definitely worth it!
I am considering taking my OEM Torque Rod and torching out ALL of the rubber, and doing a full re fill using the hard liquid urethane stuff. Example:

U62..... if you see it a bit different may be cuz i sharpied out where it says HASPORT and scribed out the letters.....
Aha i see. Nice job on the install! Mine took several whacks to get lined up in the subframe as well, was a super snug fit. Almost wondering if i should have went with the softer bushing, wife DEFINETLY notices it lol. I love the feel though, made the car feel so much more solid. Others say it breaks in after several hundred miles so ill keep note on that, its increased NVH is Definetly most noticeable with ac on, but once im past 1500 rpm or so it's not even noticeable. Well worth the solid clutch engagement and shifting feel.
Did anyone else notice much more audible transmission whine after the rear mount upgrade? Mostly on low speed deceleration/engine braking. I can really hear it, sounds like straight cut gear whine. Makes sense tho, since the mount bracket is attached the the transmission case, just curious if anyone else noticed.
Checked out my rear end/hatch area for a random clunking noise on bumps....not the RSB, not the exhaust, not body parts, seems it was the ends of my jumper cable rattling in the spare tire well ….a couple shop towels stuffed in there, and all is well (pun intended)
Hi everybody; no, I didn't drive off a cliff, but seem to have remained the Elmer Fudd of Fit owners with none of the cool mods and upgrades that garnish this thread. Just a few long-term comments since continuing a still happy relationship since 2014 with my 2015 Fit. 1) After falling off twice, my underneath engine cover is history which most folks (including my mechanic) don’t count as a serious loss. 2) I continue to turn my anti-skid control off in fair weather, which seems to add at least a couple of horse power to acceleration and handling. Always turn it back on when roads are not dry and clear. 3) I shifted from Yokohama to Pirelli tires about a year ago, and the traction under all conditions has really improved. Have never regretted dumping the stock Bridgstones from the start - found from swapping on my 2008 Fit that the better tire provides DRAMATICALLY improved ride and handling. 4) If your ‘malfunction indicator lamp’ (looks like an engine) comes on, you should get it checked, but probably will not need more than re-calibration with a meter in the hands of your trusted mechanic. It has to do with emission control (per owner's manual) and I am about to address it's second appearance with a routine service visit to Atlanta Auto Pro (Hondas only). I can imagine how creative a dealership might become in dealing with this issue. 5) The only thing holding my plastic/rubbery floor molding (behind the driver's heels when seated) is my high-walled WeatherTech floor mat. Received great feedback regarding this issue from other Fitfreaks, and tried a repair, but the molding curls like a clock-spring, so I just let the floor mat take control. 6) Much drought in GA the past 2-3 years, and with the water usage limitations, I went to Simonize Car Wash where the detailers recently decided to goof off (vs. work) for tips. I returned to doing my own Meguiar's treatment in the car port. I was very impressed at how well the ‘Modern Steel Metallic’ paint has held up since I had become resigned to a bad paint job soon after joining Fitfreak and hearing of so many paint problems. 6 is my favorite digit, so I'll stop here, but offer in overview that at 58,000 miles, ownership since August 2014 has been very satisfactory.

I really enjoyed reading your post.
Good penmanship, cleverly understated wit and positive attitude towards reality are rare commodities these days.

Just take a fox tail and attach it to the radio antenna. When people ask about it tell them that in the Fit community it's a symbol that you're an acknowledged "Leader of the Pack". Trust me, people will be more interested in you and your car than all those other boring Fits with their exhaust and suspension mods - ho hum, how ordinary.
Long story. I bought hondagk5's barely used Koni shocks and Tein springs. Great deal, easy transaction. While en route on Saturday morning, my battery died, so we met at Pep Boys where I bought the cheapest one they had, $135 with military discount out the door after core charge. They wanted $45 to check the charging system (used to be free -- Autozone?), so I thought just throw in a battery for $90 more, if it's the alternator or starter it'd be under warranty. Anyway, I was supposed to spend time with my mom, which meant she made me sandwiches and listened to me cuss every imaginable combo of words while I wrenched on the fit in my sister's garage. Her husband does not have the greatest set of tools, and so after getting the rears done, I pulled the left front assembly off, but I was not able to crack the nut on the front strut assembly to remove the spring. I put the whole thing back together, and test drove it. It was making a horrible ruckus so I pulled the tire back off and rechecked everything. When I compressed the spring on the front, the spring put torque on the strut bearing enough so that I could see the ball bearings inside it. Maybe that is shot now? Also, to get the sway bar end link back on, I had to move the strut assembly into an unnatural position, emplace the end link, and then force the strut assembly back on the strut mounting location (the two big nut/bolt combos). It wasn't tough, but maybe I jacked up the sway bar end link? So, I ordered two bearings, two strut mounts (the big rubber piece the assembly goes into), and two end links. They come in tomorrow morning. I am going to take both assemblies apart tonight and compare and see if anything looks screwed up. Tomorrow I should have her all back together and be able to get rid of my Cali-tilt, which looks so good on two-door impalas, but not so much on a four door fit, lol. Cheers and happy modding!
That shadow looks like a mentalist is trying to levitate the car.
