When I had the battery tested they said it was reading 0%.
Haven't had an issue since replacing it.
Batteries and alternators fail. Even if your alternator is working, the battery itself could be sulfated beyond its service life and wont hold a charge at all. Glad you were able to figure out the problem.

Oh, well. Nothing last forever. Now I'm reminded to put my smart-chargers on our Fits.

Exactly, just a minor bummer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Adding two loud horns was one of the first things I did after I got my Fit. I made the mistake of removing the front bumper - with those stupid plastic tabs that are designed to break.

How did you install yours?

I followed the collegehills honda youtube vid. so I only had to remove the bumper, partially and just finessed my arm in there and went to town

These horns should have the opening facing downwards. Then again, I did exactly that to my Fiamm Lo Tone horn and somehow water got in and killed it. The lo tone horn is in a good location away from water.

I bought mine from College Hills Honda. Installed them after realizing the plastic female connector on the horn actually rotates. So after washing my car , water got into the horn so I went back and played with the horn to figure out that fact and fixed it. Water wasn't gone in since. I hope this fixes your issue. However I can image if you go to car wash and you opt into the undercarriage wash water may still get in as yours have .

unless the plastic under tray is trimmed, there is no space under the horn to rotate and face the opening downward

(these hella's are pretty large)

Can the metal mount rotate from the horn side? That's what I did with the collegehillshonda horn so that the opening is facing downward.

approaching mile 100,000

Now that my 2015 is approaching 100k, I'm looking to do some minor aesthetic upgrades to it.

I'm really looking for these liftgate reflectors. Does anyone know who makes these? I really love how it brings a slightly different shape to the back of the car with such a minimal mod.

I'll also be adding tinting, and probably switching up the exhaust a bit.

A friend was thinking about getting a Fit, so I told him: "A very good car, for what it is: small, light, efficient, fun to drive. Don't plan to tow anything heavy. I'm currently getting 38 mpg with heavy use of A/C."

are you referring to the trim piece, that surrounds the honda H emblem?

if yes, those come standard on ex models. and alot of ex owners (for whatever reason) prefer the black trim that come on lx models. you can probably ask someone to do a straight trade with your black trim

I'll post pics, of the trumpets side by side vs the oem horns

at that rate, I may end up busting out my hella super tone horns, and installing those in lieu of these trumpets. the idea of the trumpets was to go the simple and cheap route.

I'm actually looking for the reflectors that surrounding the window on the Left and Right. I haven't seen anything like the ones in the photo I posted for sale and I'm looking for them.
