Yup lol the swaybar is extremely easy to install. U can literally back the car up on some ramps and just bolt it right on. No removing anything, you just drop the supplied bolts into the preexisting holes under the spring and shock, line up the spacers and sway bar then bolt it all down. Easy as pie.

Is it an official, Rick-Approved OIL CATCH CAN?

Rear sway bar

I’ve heard sway bar installation is not very difficult
With the rear sway bar upgrade is it as simple as removing the OEM and putting in the Progress replacement?
Do all the bolts line up with original holes??
My buddy is a youngish mechanic he’s never installed one but he’s confident

Sway bar

Evil
forgive me if I sound stupid
I literally got the Fit 3 weeks ago and I’m not a car guy yet 😂
i thought the car came with a rear sway and it was to flimsy so folks put on a thicker diameter bar

If I understand it now there’s no REAR OEM sway bar and there’s existing holes ready to receive a new sway bar
Correct?

Is the correct part number 5310? Amazon says they don't fit, not that they'd know but...

Yes on the GK there is no factory RSB. Progress and apparently Megan are bolt-on. The progress is a direct-bolt on. Apparently the Megan requires removing some plastic parts and and minor modification.

Personally I went with the Progress. To me it's a more simplistic one piece design. When you have more parts, it increases the chances of failure.

Appreciate it
This forum is really great with all the shared knowledge
👍👍

I’ve had/driven VWs an A3 Dodge Caravan
Wifey has a Mazda 3
The A3 and Mazda 3 are phenomenal handling cars but for whipping around the city I’m so glad I chose the Fit
I look forward to making it even better

Post a link to the ad. Need more info about the wheels to know if they'll fit.

at the risk of sounding stupid .... I'll throw something out there. Isnt the Progress bar essentially 3 piece? IE, it started life out as a bar, and then they welded 2 pieces onto the ends of said bar .... right?

and also, more risk of sounding stupid .... are those welds failure proof?

Bro I'm not trying to start an internet argument. Sure it started as separate pieces and then welded together. Yes welds can fail. I trust a good weld over individual bolts though. My personal preference. It wasn't meant as an attack on your choice of RSB. If you like it, then awesome. I like my choice on the Progress RSB as I didn't have to remove pieces or modify anything as it was a simple bolt-on.

I'm not sure where you got "argument" from ... that was not my intention

I also, never took your words as an "attack" either, as I have no affiliation with Megan.

If you have followed my other posts and threads, Ive never attacked any other members for the decision in brand choices.

I work in an office and I deal with a lot of passive aggressive folks so I may have misconstrued your comments as such. Maybe argument wasn't the best choice of words. No harm no foul I hope? Regardless, I hope you like you are enjoying your RSB as much I enjoy mine daily
