Thanks! I actually got the two together last year when visiting relatives in Japan. Was used from upgarage but only cost about $300 and another $100 to ship back home.

It looks great painted, and I see you got a shark fin antenna. We have them on our Fits.

BC Racing DS Series Coilovers

Yeah I can't wait to share my experience. Unfortunately i'm choosing to switch spring rates based on advice from Tailored Chassis Solutions owner Seamus, who has what I believe to be the fastest road race fit in... the world? So it'll be like April before I have a review... cheers!

I'm glad I'm old and cheap.

When I was younger, I spent a fortune - which was a totally different amount in the 1960s - making cars go faster and handle better. Now, I want them to be reliable, comfortable, convenient, and get good mileage.

What did you use to undercoat the wheel wells?

Thank you for this, been looking to swap the grille on my girlfriends 2018 for a J's or Seeker grille but wasn't sure if it would fit correctly.

2 cans of Rustoleum. It applies nicely I’ve used it on other cars before too. Not sure how much sound dampening it does to be honest unless you layer it up.

I did 6 coats per side of asphalt and it made zero difference for road noise. By then I'd already sound deadened the dash/firewall area.

Very nice! I put sound deadening material all through my 2015, and it made a significant difference. It required lots of disassembly - and time.

I noticed those three switch blanks to the left of your steering wheel. I put three lighted switches in there.

One controls the color-changing LEDs under the seats and the dash, and the other two control three 12v outlets I added. Two are up front, and one is in the rear.

Im not sure if the Japanese grilles will fit on a USDM bumper though. I know headlight shapes are the same but you'll probably end up having to trim the bumper like I did. In my case, the grille protruded too much and the bumper did not have recession to accommodate, leaving a lot of gap by the headlights. I centered it as much as possible, measuring both sides the distance from the inner edge of headlight to bumper, then outlined the grille shape using a sharpie, cutting, filing and repeated 3 to 4 times until everything fit flush.

there was a member on the tfc pages that had a mis matching grille. I think he and the above post is enough proof, jdm grilles do not fit w/o modification

Just to clarify, the grille I used is off of a USDM 18+ Fit, but even that requires trimming.
