^^ you can do AT, you just have to do basically an MT swap before hand.

did you have to buy extra brake lines and fitting when you bend them? or did you just bend the existing ones in the car to get it out of the way?

"last surviving Honda hatchback" -gettinafit

Just wanted to add my .02 cents... Not only is it a sweet looking car (only the GD, sorry GE owners ), but when the frame was designed, accidently or not- it was designed with a sturdier lower frame and a lighter upper frame. Most track enthusiasts will tell you it's the foundation for a perfect track car. Sure it may not match up to some of the S2000/DC2/CRX beasts, but it definitely has the potential for a dangerous sleeper.

The K20a/weight ratio IS great, as gettinafit said, but moreover is the rareness of it's class. It's getting harder to find (and more expensive to rebuild/retore) old-school, track-capable shells. I think the fit truly rebirthed the hatchback. The newer Civic Si models are too big, bulky, and often remind me of an Accord. I can't honestly say i knew what Honda was thinking when they designed their new Si, maybe to say- at the time their head was somewhere dark and warm...

Everyone has their own reasons why they bought (and still own) their fit. Maybe you'll have more fun in an RSX. If that's the case... you should go to clubrsx.com and ask your gf (and her fit) to join the fitfreak.net forum.

Anyway, that's just my .02 cents

After you feel the K power on the Fit, you will feel the RSX is nothing. Our car is so light, and that amount of power (After Tune), the car just fly like rocket. The only problem may have is traction, but if for DD and fun, K power Fit is the way to go (If YOU HAVE MONEY).

for the above post in regards to "y not get an RSX if speed is a thing for u"
my answer to that is k-swap fit = win win !! ...ROOM for CARGO..SPEED to GO !
MPG is still good if u keep the K stock...so no problems....and if most ppl really do care about MPG....they should look into prius instead

Well I suppose I should read before posting......... eh maybe not
I just picked up a 2002 rsx-s 6-spd with a spun rod bearing.
I look forward to finding out what I need off this car for the swap.
Needles to say, I'm very excited...
