So what do you guys think? Thanks
Well your car is going to be illegal anyway you look at it. CA has laws about transplanting an engine that is older than the car.

Your engine will be a goner in about a month's worth of driving in LA if you ran ITBs. It's too dirty down here in SoCal to run ITB's as a daily driver.

Turbo K20 would be cool, but if it's your daily driver, wouldn't be a b**ch to drive around in LA traffic? If I were you, I would swap a K20 and just leave it as that.

Oh, and you can't run ITB's on a turbo set up. Or at least, I don't recommend it unless you know what you're doing and know what's at risk. As cool as ITBs are, there is really no justification for them to be on any car that is driven on the road daily. There's too much involved to make it worth it.

I hope to see your Fit back in action soon, that thing was badass!

Also make room for me in the shop, I have a KraftWerks Supercharger kit coming my way very shortly. They release 11/21/08!

just subscribing to this thread. really good info in here. heres something to think about when thinking about a kswap. stock internals can handle 40+ lbs of boost before it blows. pretty crazy.

I'd like to do a Before & After dyno if possible. The "seat of the pants" dyno I've been using is over rated!

Good luck getting her running again!

Read this whole thread, all 20 pages, this morning. Very good read...Gettinafit, the pics and frequency of updates were amazing and very informative!

I'm planning a K20z3 swap on my '09 and am having my own set of problems as the '09 is TOO NEW, but I hope to be posting a thread like this within the next year!!! Good luck on your new build and sorry about your last one...10,400RPMs??? HOLY H*LL!!!

Rep +1 for you!
