sucks to hear gettinafit.

to your idea about resleeving, dont. for the money, you can buy another k20a2 block, or even k24's if u wanted.

aftermarket sleeving is an iffy business. i've known a good number of guys having a sleeve drop and coolant passing in and causing total failure to all the upgraded internals. Most were sleeved by top builders such as ERL and Blueprint MFG. You dont need sleeves until you're talking about 500+whp. I recently started plans for a k20 build good for up to 450whp. It could go lots further rod/piston-wise, but i'm sticking to stock sleeves. I'm sure u've read up on k20a.org and u can plenty of motors there

Good luck to whatever it is to come!

Yup I'm on K20a.org! Well it looks like Cash rules and I might be out of the game for a while. Maybe go stock for now. At least I'll still be driving my Fit. WIll keep everyone posted. THanks for the concern!

ouch i haven't seen that much carnage in a long time. all the pistons disintegrated wow! this is why i never drive my buddy's RSX, he's got 5 grand into his motor and i just know that i will miss a shift if i drive the darn thing.
i recommend... *shhhh* you go steal an rsx and borrow the motor from it *shhh*

I've been lurking and following along for quite some time, but never joined in as I had nothing (but admiration) to add. I can't imagine how badly it must have sucked to realize the extent of the damage. After soooo much work, too!

If there were tears, they would have been very manly tears.

Have you thought of talking to any of the Fitfreak sponsors about sponsoring your racing? It is expensive, but damn, your car is getting a lot of attention... That's got to be worth some parts to someone.

Back to quietly following along.

Yes there is room, but it is going to have to be custom.

And the JRSC kits for the EP3 will fit with no issues. So the JRSC EP3 Race kit would be nice! I was going to go that route, but it looks like I'll be going back to stock for now, and saving up for a new engine.

There's lots of room on top of the motor, so ALL strut bars available FIT!

Hondata is responsible for the FIT ECU reflashing and the K-pro'd RSX ECU.

Hasport is the developer of the Wiring Harness.

I would direct most of your direct questions to Hasport.
