Everything above can be purchased through Hasport at one point in time, prices I'm not sure you will have to call and ask them.

You can always email brian@hasport.com

If it is a k24a2 head then yes, if it is not then no.

Just curious, does anyone have an ETA on Hasport's full swap mount kit? I've researched articles and posts dating back to 2006 on the K20 swap. Also, how much room will this swap leave for any other enhancements one might conjure (such as a turbo or supercharger, etc.) Thank you.

The mount kit is available at JHPusa.com and if you call Hasport yourself.

There is room for the JRSC EP3 Race Kit 8psi. Any custom turbo can be made to fit!

I'm going with the JRSC soon.....

It's great! Fun, Fast, scary at times! But overall there's always room for improvement. I need fully adjustable coilovers made for this extra weight in the front! Progress Auto designed them on the Hasport K20 Fit, but they are not in production yet! SO I will wait for them. As far as more "GO", I'm thinking JRSC 8psi. SHould be able to handle it for the daily!

Can't wait to bring it to the drag strip soon, to see what it traps and the 1/4mi! Then after suspension! Road Course!

I'm thinking JRSC 8psi.
that would be wicked

it would be very interesting to see your 1/8, 1/4 times how you are now and then if you boost what they would be then too.

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum and have 2 07 si's right now and am looking at selling the coupe and getting a fit. After I get done with my bachelor's degree, I would want to reward myself by getting a swap done. How much would I be looking at if I had to pay a business? k20a btw.

Also, what a good exhaust for the fit that doesn't look like it's hanging too low? All the ones that I've seen are too low and look terrible. It would also have to be something that's good for the k20a that I would later want.

I am a Mechanic and thus labor is irrevelent to me. But basically depending on the price you get for things / labor it will vary. All K20 engines are not the same.

K20A3 is the 02-05 civic SI engine / 5sp trans. 160hp economical VTEC engine.

K20A2 is the 02-04 RSX Type- S engine / 6sp Trans. 200hp Performance VTEC engine. (THIS ONE IS MINES!!)

K20A is the JDM Type R engine 220hp performance VTEC engine.

And you can also do a K24 swap, or K24/k20 frankenstein.

That's up to you. info on K20's can be found at K20A.org .:. The K Series Source . Honda / Acura K20a k24a Engine Forum
Question-
I plan on doing a K-series swap after this summer....probably beginning of September. Is the Type R right hand drive only? That was the route I wanted to go with.....not sure if they come left hand drive....thx.

Car is right hand drive but that shouldn't have anything to do with the engine itself i think

The Fit Is Dead.......

I miss shifted at the track on 3/9/08, and Here is what my K20A2 looks like now.... ALL OF THE PISTONS WERE WIPED OUT! I mean NON EXISTANT when I pulled the head!...... It's gonna be on the shelf for awhile.,...

Not sure what I'm going to do now..... Maybe just put the stock engine back in for now! Racing is expensive....

We'll see about that, things are tight, I've been working on getting my "Mineola Midas Auto Service and Tires" built and open hopefully by August - September (So many setbacks)

The Fit is Dead, but I fixed my "old faithful" to drive around! ('91 Honda Accord)! Never let me down!

If I don't put in the L15A1, I will probably re-sleeve this K20A2 block and build it from the ground up. The Head is Wasted though! Give me at least a year or so.

I hope to give these pictures to the FitFreak community to tell them how easy it is to destroy a motor in seconds! I raised the max Rpms on the engne with the K-Pro Tune, that only made it worse when I miss shifted! (10,400 RPM's FORCE OVER-REV to be exact)
Racing is NOT CHEAP! I think I'm going to build a track car (CIvic Hatch) and leave the Fit for the streets (K-swapped, but for daily ONLY) ......
