Are you worried that there is going to be contact when the motor's running and vibrating?

YES! But Brian from Hasport said that the differential comes extremely close so I see what he means now! The only thing for the future would be urethane mounts! Stop engine movement. Hasport is developing them as we speak I hope....

Wave, no prob. You are protecting NYC and doing a fine job! I don't think that it will be done by the end of the week, I don't think that I'm gonna find any time to work on it really... We'll see!

I had a few minutes to work on the fit today, and so I installed the A/C compressor, the midshaft and Axles and MT fluid, and the Starter/battery cable. I also adjusted the shifter cables since they were binding a bit before and now the switch like butter!

Stay tuned, I hope to start this thing up by the weekend!

can you get a shot of the A/C pulley? Does it get dangerously close to the frame too?

I had a K swap in an EK and the 1-2 shift was kinda sloppy when i did hard shifts at WOT...if you still remember this question when your car is running, can you test to see if you have that problem also?

As of last night I put on the belt, hoses, radiator and condensor, and custom mounted the pusher-type fans in front with electrical modification.

It's getting there! It's starting to look like a car again!

Still about another solid 4 hours of work until first crank!

** Update**

It's pretty much all back together. I need to top off fluids, get the header and install it, fabricate an intake, and just check everything over once again!

The good news is it fired right up! Check out the video!

In a couple of weeks, I should have her all perfected and done. Yes I will have an in car motion video.

As for the dashboard and stuff, the check engine light is on and flashing! I have to look into that. There is no header nor o2 sensor hooked up b/c of no header, so I'm hoping it's that. I need to borrow my buddy's scanner to look futher. But hey it started!!!

Since you have your old engine out, could you weigh the L15? I'm curious to know how much the original engine weighed for us potential swappers.

Yes they work. That is why the wiring took so long ! And that is why I'm required to run the Fit ECU still on top of Kpro.
