Anyone know if this will fit a UK spec 2003 Jazz? The early Jazz's in the UK came with 240mm front rotors...

Abs and traction.

Hey, so I did this. Bbk upgrade as well on my ge8 about 4 months ago and my abs and traction light came on about 3 weeks ago. Idk why but the brake peddle as been very squishy.. to be honest the stock brakes felt more safe.

is there a write up on why the abs and traction light come on after doing this brake upgrade?

The short/simple/quick answer is that you did poor job of bleeding the brakes.

Things to check when bleeding;
are the bleed nipples at the top of the caliper piston?
Air is significantly lighter than brake fluid…that means that air will be at the top…with reference to GRAVITY, not the caliper. Fill a clear plastic bottle most full of water. Put the cap on tightly. Now rotate it in any direction and take note where the air is. Now, visualize that in the brake caliper and the air inside the caliper.

since I don’t know what your installation looks like, since you have a spongy brake pedal, you have air in the caliper. It takes work to get all the air out. You probably will have to unmount the caliper, put in a block of steel the size of the disc brake (or an actual loose disc brake), and visualize where the air is in the caliper. Rotate the caliper so that the bleed nipple will be above the air bubble.

Maybe air in the ABS block.
