Probably because Japan doesn't have drinks the size of your head TBH. I don't buy drinks that big so it never bothers me, I could see it being an issue for people that do though.

Some of my cars had NO CUPHOLDERS.

At least you guys in USA have paddle shifters. Our Canadian (Chinese made 2nd gen) Fits with autos don't. Also no steering wheel audio controls on any trim level.

GD3 when it leaked water behind the PS front seat. It was an easy fix after reading about others here having the same prob.

Driver seat not that great on long trips. Needs better ergonomics, back support and more cushion.

I am going to buy this car. Seat comfort is important to me. Are the seats that uncomfortable to not buy it? Am wondering if there are any after market seats that can fit the fit?

Unless your a total seat snob and the seats are the most important aspect of your ride than I don't think the seats are a deal breaker.

I was a little dissapointed in the seats in my 1st Gen when I bought it, thought they could be a bit better holding you in and actually sit a little lower than they do.

I've haven't experienced any discomfort with the GE8 seats but everyone's body is different as are people's comfort levels. I wouldn't let the seats scare you away from purchasing a Fit.

I've read in this forum people that have replaced the seats but it required changing the rails it sits on.

Took my '13 Base on a 1300 mile road trip last week and the seats are okay. I'm kind of a big guy, 6'2 238lb with a worn out spine. Now the fabric is another story. It shows everything. I'm going to get some Clasico covers eventually.

Thank you, Fitguy07, GRTPLYR, goConcrete. No seat snob at all. Don't have any back issues at present. Appreciate your taking the time to reply. Already feel better about it...

The number one thing that helped me with comfort on long trips had absolutely nothing to do with changing the seat.

I started taking my wallet out of my back pocket. The seat cushion is actually pretty stiff and doing so helps tremendously for me.

I feel like I hear a lot about people messing up their backs by sitting on their wallets all the time.

I've got back problems and I spend about 2 hours a day in the car. The Fit's not a problem at all.

I can't stand having my wallet in my back pocket while driving. It feels like your sitting so much higher and its bulky and very uncomfortable. I don't even like having it in my front pocket sometimes.

Don't like how underpowered it is, but understand why it is so underpowered.

Don't like the cloth on the door panel. If you rest your arm on it consistantly, it leaves a wear spot. I bought I used 2012 with 43000 miles and there is a wear spot on the door panel where the person before me cruised gangsta style.

Wish every Sport version came equipped with Navi.

Paint is super thin.

With all that said, I still love the FIT.

I really don't likw the drive by wire....This is my first car with it and the delay/lack of feed back in the pedal kills me
Same thing with the clutch, very numb feeling, but there is a fix for that...Here i come civic master cylinder!

Dead pedal for sure, and armrest we shouldn't have to buy one. I also think that the base modal should come with key less entry and an alarm system i mean its supposed to be a new car.

My base came with a dead pedal, RKE and an alarm. I'd like an armrest, but it is a base, after all.
