That it attracts more jackasses in minivans and especially big ass ford and chevy trucks, compelling them to cut you off or try to race you and then cut you off. Don't even start on the Prius XP

Other than that as well as the power issue, I love my fit to death and it has helped me with a lot of my regular errands as well as my equipment transport

1. The carpet and upholstery are difficult to clean.
2. The windshield seems to attract stones - I'm on my third in 15 months.
3. The "paddle shifter" thing is a JOKE.
4. The mechanism inside the driver's seat that moves the headrest in the event of a crash makes little adjustments whenever I round a corner -- not just when I brake suddenly. It feels as if the seat is loose, but it is not.

It is too fuel efficient... I don't get to chat with that cute clerk at the filling station as often.

I'm strangers with the service people at the dealership... darn thing never breaks down. May never be on first name basis with mechanic again.

It is zippy around town... I'm being challenged to race too much.

Yeah, plus I have to fight my son for behind-the-wheel time (his school commuter).

I own two fits. An 08 sport and an 09 sport. I really love the 09 for the overall look and the features. It feels a lot bigger on the inside since they spaced the windshield father forward. I would have to say that the 08 feels a bit quicker off the line.

My 08 is having the same issue. Wheels are not as high quality as they used to be from the factory.

Clutch delay valve. Not my friend. Seat too tall id like to be lower to the ground. Love my fit though

That's because you live in Mississippi.

Anything installed by a dealer that is a HONDA part is warrantied for 3 years and 36,000 miles. If it's aftermarket and installed by a dealer you are covered by 1 year. Hope this helps.

I have contemplated removing it because the yellowing looks bad, however I do not want it to lift the paint. I wonder if this is a warrantee issue given that it was installed by a dealer prior to my purchase.

The plastic interior scratches (like the gauge lenses) WAY too easily. It's also incredibly easy to permanently scuff the upholstery.

Agreed. I'm thinking about plasti-dipping my interior trim because of this.

same experience for me especially the gauge lenses. I am thinking of using a can of compressed air to blow off the dust off the fragile plastic of the gauge lenses......

I am afraid that using the contact method may, over time, create micro scratches and dull the lenses. I found that even eye glasses micro cloth attracts micro dirt which can also scratch the lenses unless I wash the micro cloth each time I use it and not apply any pressure when I use it on the gauge plastic

That sounds like a good idea, I just hate that it even comes down to that. I mean, it's not a huge deal, but knowing I paid nearly $19,000 for my Fit, I would expect just a little more in the way of quality.. especially from Honda.

Instrument gauge plastic cover is sloped the wrong way. The Fit's cover is sloped in the way that collects dust and reflects glare. The better way is sloped the opposite way, which does not collect dust nor reflect glare.

Good point buckyfit. This explains why our FIT gauge lens area is an aggressive dust collector which I've barely even notice gauge lens dust problem in my previous vehicles...Accord etc

The other method I can think of (may be quite costly) is to use the invisible screen shield for tablets, ipad, cut the plastic shield to match our gauge lens and apply the invisible shield to protect the plastic lens of our gauges... what do you think?

its been interesting reading all this. i went from a 2001 honda CRV to a 2011 Fit Sport so there are lots of things i miss. but there are lots of things i like about the Fit. hearing the gas slosh around under my seat is a little creepy -- i just keep thinking what happens in an accident -- am i doomed to combust in a gas-fueled fire??? i miss the console where i used to "park" my purse -- i know to some folks that's not a big deal (guys especially). but it does make it somewhat inconvenient. i hate the fact that after reading some of the forum topics here i'm going to have to expend yet more money for wheel locks, which will only deter and not stop possible left of my wheels by unscrupulous persons wishing to put smaller wheels on their cars and thus make them lower to the ground for racing purposes (go buy your own and don't steal mine). the seat adjustment thing is also a bit annoying. and the paddle shifters -- i keep smacking them by accident (still a baby having only owned it a month so maybe i'll get better at avoiding them as time goes by). agreeing on the paint -- someone parked too close (or didn't care that their door was hitting mine) and i already have a nice mark. and the slope of the windshield must truly attract the stones because i've had two or three fly up in the month i've owned it. the rear window wiper seems to only wipe the right half of the window -- maybe the placement and size of the wiper blade is to blame there. and i agree with the grill being too low to the ground -- speed bumps are approached with extreme caution now.
other than that -- it appears that it has as much cargo room as my crv did (maybe that's an illusion) and i like the different configurations of the rear seats, and the fact that the rear headrests go flat on the seats to allow for visibility. it appears that some things spoken of here honda has addressed as the years went by ... which is good for those of us who own 2011 Fits ...
i'm about to take it on a long trip and will be interested to see how it performs with three adults and luggage ...

I've seen others mention it, but the clutch delay valve drives me nuts.

What I Don't like....

Only thing I miss is the cruise. But reasonably, I can live without it. Especially when I'm averaging 34-37 mpg.

Welcome to the freakworld tiger - missing doesn't count ;-) You're getting fantastic MPG's so that cruise really is something you can get by without. Fit isn't such a bad ride, is it? Check out some of the ECO and GE8 threads on mpg. I'll venture to say your Fit will only improve.

That's pretty much it.

i agree with #1...it would be sweeeeet to fly over all the GD traffic but its #4 that i wish my Fit could do, but i would prefer it to fold up to the size of a wallet so i can stick it in my purse
