What you DONT like about your Fit
Well, looks like I'm going to have to get used to these headrests,Subie you are right,,I tried removing it but it felt odd, like a 60's car.Better live with it than a whiplash. JJ
this little guy must be driving a "Jazz" with the shift lever on the left,,I know ,never mind. JJ

I don't understand, how a 2011 model car, does not have a variable speed intermitent wiper setting. I LOVE having that dial to control the speed of the wipers. My '86 Plymouth K-Car had this, but my '11 Fit does not
Not a big enough issue to not buy the car, but still. Honda, if you're listening! *hint hint*

Maybe they figure Canadians don't need intermittent wipers... especially
those in Vancouver where the climate has this reputation for rain all the
time... which I know is not true.
Canadians just get weird badge names and wheels, not the really cool stuff I guess?
People that complain about the gas mileage aren't driving the car right.
lowered klass is asking for VARIABLE speed intermittent wipers. I'm in agreement. Every car I've owned (17 and counting) has had the ability to determine the time between the intermittent swipes except this one. The preset time delay is just never the right amount.
Let me say, something I don't like about my Fit? Is actually born out of something I really like about my Fit.
That is? I love the Sport Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel. Of all the vehicles I've owned, I'd say it's just one of the most comfortable, best feeling steering wheels.
I'd even go further and say that I think Honda did a good job in making all the immediate visual sights and touch places the drive encounters look and feel pretty high quality, even if the cut economic corners in other areas.
I love the Instrumentation, the OEM arm rest....
However? I have an automatic. And I really dislike the OEM auto shifter. While the steering wheel and the installed OEM fold up arm rest/center console, feel high quality to me, the shift knob for the automatic feels vinyl and cheap.
I know there are some options. Honda makes a leather auto shift in Blue Stitch and a rarer Red one...but I don't really like the looks of either. (Even though I am considering the blue)
I think Razor and Mugen offer a few options, but I wasn't thrilled with those either.
I just wish Honda would of upgraded the shifter for the automatic. It's perfectly utilizable, but when I'm sitting in my Fit and actually using the shifter? It's one of the few aspects that make me feel like I'm driving an economy car.
I'll probably go with the Blue Stitched Leather...I think it will be better, if not ideal.

i think that the stock damping is too little. a little less bounce after a bump would be nice. this is especially apparent when cornering hard and there is a mid corner bump. the car bounces through the turn, unsettles the chassis, i feel the need to slow down to get the body motion back under control, then get back on the gas. bouncing through the turn is annoying.

Here, promote this:
SEATTLE RAIN FESTIVAL
JANUARY 1 - DECEMBER 31

And Paul56, we get more than enough rain!
It wouldn't be so bad if we actually got some winter weather (snow), to break up the constant rainy days
I completely agree with wanderer. If you're whining about poor gas mileage please learn how to drive efficiently. Just because the car has good mpg on the sticker when you were at the dealer(that's why you bought it!) doesn't mean you will get good mileage regardless of how you drive it. I have a manual transmission 2010 base honda fit and I average 29-31 and I use her as my daily driver to school, work and commute from the LA area to the OC frequently. I have a ricer heart so yes I smash on my Fit always high rpm Redlining is my just deserts. They don't say: "the Fit is Go!" for no damn reason.
