i hate that thier isnt really a dash seen how the gauges and the stock radio take up all of it

and i hate the material its nothing compare to my 09 civic lx-s material i have to carry around a lint roller cuase its worse then wearing a lil black dress. da hec if i get my black dress and roll around in lint its still easyier to clean then the carpet and seats...

oo and yea the paddle shift shit is a joke i have to agree and the fact that you have to buy the center counsel and the trunk cover thingy (excuses my lack of car language i dont know whats it called)

but other then that i love how i can fit almost anywere in it lol :0)

I purchased some replacement clips and other hardware to replace the ones I broke or lost and had them double the order... I had a dog that would steal the clips and chew them up... My new dog bit the toe off of my flip flops while I was wearing them today.. I thought he was just going to trim my toe nails.

My wishes... Not so much complaints.

- No leather option (Fiesta and new Rio have that option)
- No HID option
- 6 Speed trans would be nice for better MPGs
- Antenna is too short! (bad reception)
- Should of came with a Cargo Cover, and one that doesn't have to clip to the back seats
- Stock armrest is bit uncomfortable (better then nothing, right Fiestas!?!)
- No fuel sensor with Miles till Empty (just nice to have)

That's about all I got. Overall I really enjoy this car!

well i can add a few things to my list now that i've had her for a couple of months:

1. seats -- as everybody has said, pick up the lint way too quickly
2. a/c seems inadequate for complete cooling (but the fact that everything inside is black its no wonder it takes so long to cool ...
3. auto shift when in cruise on hills -- ugh (i just do it myself on hills now -- seems to make more sense but defeats the purpose of the cruise)
4. plastic on the dash scratches way to easily
5. paint chips really easily

there are a few more. i like the car, but there are a few things i would change. and i'm glad i'm leasing because when i turn it in in four years, i will be able to pick what i want for the next one ... compared to my crv, i'm sure this car wouldn't go 10 years through what i took the crv through. but she's a good car and i'm enjoying the mpg upgrade, even though i'm not getting anywhere near what others here are getting ....

the OEM brake pads dust up the front wheels pretty fast. i think it's pretty crappy for a pad that doesn't have a good initial bite. at least they don't squeal

can't lower the seat height

I have had my Fit for about a week. I hate that the navigation doesn't have the option to avoid toll roads. The Toyota system allowed you to do that. I also don't like the way the door panel is sculpted. The armrest on the door doesn't extend far enough. Also, the fabric on the door is every cheap. Otherwise it is a great little car to tool around the city.

As far as the GE8, I hate unlocking of the doors feature.

For example: you have to press twice to unlock the hatch.

Another example: only the front 2 doors unlock as soon as you turn and pull the key out. I find myslef opening the door before I turn n pull the key out (of course i know this is probably a safety ft. but come Oon I know I'm at a dead stop or about to slow down when i do this).

Other than that you have to press the unlock down twice to open all doors, this could be a problem for people who travel with passengers, to many times I forgot to do that and I leave the passengers in the drive locked in (of course they're not REALLYlocked in) but the inconvience of them not knowing they layout of my car, yes it does happen, they dont know which way to unlock the door.

Honda, PLEEEASE FIX THIS!!

Also, the A/C sucks, I think all honda's for the matter have underpowered AC.
I wish they would include some vents for the back passengers and not just use the "floor well" to blow air.

I wish they would tighten this up such that ONLY the driver's door unlocked with the first press AND the door locked automatically upon closure.

It my drivers door unlocks when I hit the button!

My main gripe is the crappy paint Honda is famous for..

Also it would be nicer if it was
Convertible
Roadster
FR
.... too bad Honda stopped making something with those specs.....

Are we talking about he same car here?

I have a 2010 model, and the unlock options for the auto-unlock are none, drivers door only or all doors... and then for ATs, it's either when you shift into park or turn the ignition off (MTs "can't shift into park").

There is no option for just the front doors.

The auto unlock goes out the door if any door is opened first.

As for the main lock/unlock toggle button, it ALWAYS unlook all doors. My remote is set to unlock the driver's door on one press an then all doors on second press. I can't confirm if its programmable or not.

Most cars I've ever owned/driven with powered door locks have a quirk of sorts... if the person is trying to open the door when some presses the master lock/unlock button... that door won't trigger properly. maybe you can get the same effect if the door isn't closed properly or malfunctioning... but i'm not sure about that.

Get your windows tinted. I drove to Delaware and back over the past 2 weeks — triple digit temperatures on the drive up and, unfortunately, again on the drive back to Atlanta. Except for when pulling away after a stop, the fan speed never needed to go beyond 2. I would estimate that tinted windows are equivalent to a 5° drop in outside temperature, perhaps more.

For highway driving, I put the transmission in Sport mode, and use cruise control almost exclusively. On hills, there is a tiny downshift when it unlocks; if more is needed, I use the left paddle to downshift to 4th.

The Fit is not the quietest car in the world, but 2 weeks ago I replaced the OEM tires (pretty much gone at 32,000 miles) with a set of 205/50-16 Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax tires.

The improvement was more than I expected, noticeably quieter, the better ride over bumps, and grip is better, which is especially noticeable in a panic stop, as with more grip, the ABS doesn't cut in as early. I took it to an empty high school parking lot, and while cutting donuts, it seems to plow less with the new tires. Too soon to tell, as I have only one long trip since replacing the tires, but gas mileage seems to be no worse, possibly better — about 39.5 mpg over 600 miles, in 100 degree heat, one passenger, and luggage for two. With these tires, it's actually a pretty quiet car, due to low wind noise, on a smooth surface. It's still pretty noisy coarse pavement, such as highways in Pennsylvania.

Everything Selden said except I put Conti Pro Contact tires on mine and there are also coarse highway pavement here also... His tires are probably somewhat better than mine also.
