What you DONT like about your Fit
After 15 months of GK5 ownership the top 6 dislikes in order of annoyance are:
1. Annoying auto/warning/prevention systems e.g. VSA, CTBA, TPMS; auto idle stop, rain sensor controlled intermittent wipers, warning chimes
2. Uncomfortable seats: headrests prevent relaxed backwards leaning head position and too stiff seat cushion
3. Wide spokes of the steering wheel, especially the bottom one disturbs relaxed hold
4. Narrow and shallow beam of the high-beam led headlights
5. Dashboard reflection to windscreen
6. A-column blocks the visibility to left curves

After owning it for a year. Things I dislike..
1. Vague steering feel not much feedback maybe there's some parts to improve this.
2. Which could be number 1 easily is the SHIFT feel. It's pretty notchy and inconsistent.
3. There's no complete performance upgrades. Engine swap complete with mounts, wiring and ecu.
4. Cost of money to mod it can quickly add up.
5. It's FWD and it's probably not worth dumping money to make it handle and run like sports car and less BORING lol.

well there you go now fast brake has a kit when I did it 3 years ago there was nothing I was one of the first to have the rear disk brake in Cali you cat look for all the info in this sites

We enjoy ours as a city runabout and it does so splendidly.

05 Acura TL you have to pay the price for comfort even when lower it rides smooth dynomate will help if you want to fix the problem
I have to say after just driving it 1000km on a road trip, wind and engine noise (espeicially engine) is more of an issue than road noise. I drove a rental Toyota Aygo a few weeks ago and it was shocking how quiet it was in comparison. Up to around 100km/h there was some hum from the tires but couldn't hear any wind or engine at all. It didn't have a tach but as far as I can tell, the gear ratios aren't that different. It is, of course, a much newer car than my GD, so maybe newer Fits are much better in this regard anywa.
Not really.

Not really.

Fire wall on the engine bay side or cabin wouldn't you have to pull the dash lol.
