My car is now covered in dry salt dust. Crap. I have a dedicated Calduster for salt though.
Hope to clean her up tomorrow... duster + spray on carwash.

woot, bucket washed my G and GE this am. was barely 33F but with the sun it was okay. the shade became kinda slippery at times so kept spraying water over the thin ice. lol

also cleaned the GE's interior. glass and all.

both cars now look great again.

huh, temps are finally falling again, but nowhere near the usual winter temps here. i wonder wat the second half of Jan will bring us weather wise...

i wonder if all the heavy rain that fell in thailand was the result of us not getting much rain/snow this winter...(?) could have a serious drought this summer if this continues. Socal will be like a dried out ticking time bomb... yikes..

i suppose i better stock up on SprayOn CarWash once temps start to rise again in Spring time. i can almost hear my village enforcing a no-carwash/sprinkler rule due to drought.

The LM60's did fantastic in 3+ inches of snow. RWD is not an issue. In fact other RWD cars slipping sliding around was annoying as hell. Lol!

TGIF! was in deeper snow this am in some areas coming to work this am but no issue. wife in the GE with snow tires absolutely no issue.

on my G with RWD, all i need to watch out for is accelerating while turning like at intersections from stand still. i lightly engage 1st and then as soon as im rolling just shift into 2nd, 3rd, 4th, is the same shifting early around 2k to keep out of the torque band. and im driving with dynamic control turned off since it's easier for me to control the car if it does slip and need to fix yaw using either throttle or my sidebrake.

i stuck a few passes in traffic and the tires would slip and rear wiggle a little bit but it's very controlled.

oh noez, temps for sun forecast has dropped to 40F. hahahaha... we need to speed up time to get to sunday before temps are too low. the lowest i can wash a car on my driveway is 34F. anything less the driveway starts to get crunchy (ice begins to form and kenchan goes down. lol).

well ofcourse i do have icemelt in my winter carwashing arsenol... that is so wrong. im trying to rid all that crap off my car.

snow today, no issue driving.

7F this am.. kinda cold. GE (parked outside) started up fine. i need to make sure to kick the garage door a little before opening after freezing rain cause ice formed at the bottom of the door on the outside and made a huge BANG! noise when it broke the ice to opened this am. i was like holy f-... quick way to kill my garage door and opener...

otherwise, no issue. no issue driving on ice cause there weren't much left. they spray that icemelt crap and the air is so dry the ice just evaporates as it melts.

hope to be in the mid 20F's by this pm... looking forward to my drive home.

drove behind a dumb middle aged woman in some nissan rouge suv today where she would brake hard each time as if she was about to crash into the car in front of her.

she must have been on drugs or just frikken mad at being a f-king fat-arse loser or something cause it was very abrupt each and every f-king time. even though i had 3-4 car lengths ahead of me going no more than 40mph it would a pretty abrupt braking for me and the car behind me so i just switched lanes to do myself a favor of not getting rear ended. as i switched lanes i chirped my horn and glared at her to f-king chill out but she would not look over. i can almost guarantee that very soon she would get rearended. maybe not today, but very soon.

got home in 5F temps, closed the garage door behind me as soon as i got my G parked inside and exhaust fume cleared. also moved the last of my detailing liquids and my cordless tools into the utility room. it's going to get sub-freezing in the garage tonight...

dang cold out this am... car was showing 3F during my morning commute but it
felt like -10F. they're saying winter storms's coming so might leave work early today... not that my car can't probably handle it but travel time degrade exponentially with heavy snow... and need to pickup the kids, etc.

TGIF!!! been ready for the weekend for a while.
