Silver hair like that is pretty rare, and exotic. I've only ever seen one woman who could be described as having real "silver" hair vs. "gray", and there is a real difference.

Props to you for not covering it up.

37 Cars I have owned include:

1955 Karman Ghia (short lived motor froze up during resto project)
1974 Baja Bug (another resto project that failed)
1981 Camaro (My high school car, girls loved it as much as I did)
1969 SS Camaro (donor car for my 1981, 350 Motor)
1968 Beetle (Went back to my roots of VW after Camaro blew 350 motor)
1987 Nissan Pulsar (My first Audio Competition car)
1987 Nissan Stanza (Car I drove while in the USAF)
1998 Ford Ranger (Aquired just before leaving the USAF)
198? BMW 318 (Don't ask it was a total waste of money LOL)
1989 Honda Prelude S (Again another audio competition car was super fun car)
1991 Honda CRX Si (My biggest and loudest audio competition car)
2003 VW GTI 1.8T (VW Roots again, then a faulty tranny forced sale of the car)
2009 Honda Fit Sport (Back to the old reliable Honda, loving every minute)

Smile LuckyDog

47, almost 48 here and share with hubby who is 61

At least on here, it seems to be a good mix of ages. I live near a major university and see plenty of college students driving Fits around here. I'm seeing more and more lately.

2010 Fit Sport Blackberry Pearl
1997 Honda Civic Lx
1987 Subaru station wagon
1977 MG Midget
early 70's VW Beetle semi-automatic (shared family car)

Well now, that sounds a bit curious... Welcome to the freak world - hope you're up to it.. First ref to a "mix of ages". I'm sure you'll FIT right in.

I'm sure you'll find the forum enjoyable - possibly hubby would like to be part of Gezzertalk that I've been totally/unofficially been promoting.

Hey Wily it looks like you are just a kid.

Geez I though I was King of the Geezers at 68. I will just have to hang in for a few more years I guess.

Now how do you old farts wash your Fits? I just dropped mine on Swifts. It is going to be a stretch. I can get down there but the standing up part of me is poor!

I can relate to what you are saying I end up limping and aching all over from oil changes and tire rotations and yet I am always messing around under the hood and under the car on my back.... My wife let me know that she thinks $6000 in performance parts is enough and she is afraid to drive the car now because "it's too fast".... She thinks it is good that I do all of the work myself except my moans and groans from aches and pains, using a walking stick and knee brace afterwards and starting out over again with more stuff when able bothers her.......What is cool to me about us old farts and our appreciation of our Fits is that we have so many automotive and life experiences in our memories to look back on as references to compare and evaluate things by.... Black3sr, quit thinking about about pretty girls all of the time and wrench on your car..... The young people on fitfreak are disgusted by the thought of old people like us indulging ourselves in pleasures of the flesh.

I have learned to stop the P&M from wrenching around the wife. She has had both hips replaced and suffers from bad back as well. No comparison when it comes to pain.

Well we better not post any pics of us enjoying the pleasures of the flesh then.

We are getting a few days of rain so I will just play with my slot cars.

Yes I do remember the Pitmans and the Globe vaguely. I currently have a Lotus23 with a Pitman in it. The parts are still available.
