gear shift question?
Question for anyone with experience tuning with flashpro I am trying to figure out when driving and the car shifts from 3rd to 4th gear there is a little non smooth shift like a little jolt this only happens when i drive in low rmps like 2000 and under this is in automatic not when using shifters? I am wondering if I up the ignition retard and gear compensation 4th gear to -25 if it would possibly smooth it right now its at -50 http://imageshack.us/a/img145/228/wp0001022.jpg im kinda weary of what I shouldn't mess with when tuning don't want to mess something up I don't think this would be a big deal to mess with for that change..
any one willing to share there throttle plate tables of what there using here is my current one I have be messing with http://imageshack.us/a/img835/1699/wp000105g.jpg I no all cars have different preferences just kind spit balling hah

This might be the best mod ever released for the GD3 Fit! It opens these cars up to the common (re: poor) man
like other Hondas by allowing a legitimately tunable stock ECU.
I don't expect the L-Series to eclipse the old D-Series for "bang for your buck" power (No "Vitara builds" for 400+ whp, our
plastic IM, etc). However, the turbo aftermarket should pick with Hondata now available.
Who will be the first FF.net'er with a Borg Warner EFR 6258 build? Lol, gotta start saving!

Did the rear JDM wiper blade mod. Took me 15-20 minutes. Didn't even take motor out left hatch closed. Worked on it from inside the car haha. Did a lakeshore cruise and a photoshoot since I was so pleased with my wiper blade. Will post some photos real soon.

resetting ecu with flashpro?
From what I know the ecu cant be fully reset like a hds tool can. it only can reflesh values and clear reable codes.. anyone for surely know this?
For example my break booster hose going to the manifold came off and had higher idle than expected code put hose back code cleared but abs light still on with no code.

So tuning question. I know these has been brought up before I believe but I wanted to ask again.
Since I have reflashed with Hondata I have sacrificed my MPG. Since the car is daily driven by the wife and me from time to time it sucks spending $4.60 a gallon for 91 California octane.
Is there a way to set a program that helps save gas? Would it hurt to raised Vtec to like 4K so it wouldn't be engaged all the time when on the highway? Will this cause harm? Curious how this would affect MPG.

Playing with the Vtec engagement will screw your mileage even worse. Remeber, we in the GD do not have true "Vtec." There is no secondary cam lobes that engages. We have a version more like the D series "eVtec." Where it runs on one intake valve till the change over and then it opens two.
I have tested lower and higher on the dyno. Both do AWFUL things to the torque curve.
Best bet is to contract someone to do eTuning for you. Most folks I know with a FlashPro see same or better MPG's once the tune is setup specific to the car's mods and location

I recently averaged 26mpg with a 400+ mil e drive to SoCal and two drivers abusing the car at a SCCA Pro Solo... On the return over the grapevine with tools/tires/passenger I still got 373 miles and averaged 31mpg (confirmed by ScanGauge and pump.)
Do you have data logs? Are you sure your not just addicted to the MOAR POWAAH!!! ? Haha, I was. Averaged like 19 on a few tanks lol
