how did you get such a deal?

My 2010 maual sport's MSRP was 17,120 before destination delivery fee.

You bought it below MSRP?

what was MSRP for it? What was the invoice. How much were the taxes?

who? me?

not sure if you're talking to me...but i told dealer i want it $16,800 OTD and not a penny more and they said ok and worked out the price. the sticker was like $15,xxx. so i got the car under the sticker by like $1000-$1200 i think. i dont have the paper or sticker on me..it's at home.

after the final OTD price, they calculate my monthly payment. they had to get the car from montclair, CA since they didn't have a White Manual Sport at the dealership i got it from.

Like Fitcious not sure if you're asking me but I shopped around and the exact Fit I wanted (had to be manual transmission that are in short supply) was advertised online at one of the dealers in my area for 16410. I offered 16k even but they wouldn't move and it was only about 600 over invoice so I agreed. If I had been more assertive they might have moved maybe 100 or so but I couldn't find any other manuals in the color I wanted and there are four dealers in my area.

Wait, the sticker price for Fit Sport Manual was 15xxx? How is that possible? Its MSRP is 16,420 plus the destination fee. And this is not to mention any dealer options.

Was yours a base model? If so, then I have no questions...

Sport listed at about $17,500 Cash for Clunkers took off $4500, membership at Costco took off another $500. So it came in at about $12,500.

Was about 16855k before dealer fee so prolly 17255 otd for 2010 Sport AT Blackberry Pearl. 4.99% wife was over in the sandbox while the 2.9 was on so we just missed that. We are happy with the deal even though that 500 off was cash back to dealer from Honda. She got the color she wanted and that is worth it lol

No sales tax in NH..Live Free or Die!!!

how much after tax?
i don't understand what OTD means, because tax can add quite a lot to your total price.

OTD = out the door. including tax does not really help in comparing prices cause tax is different in every state. just a 1% tax difference could be close to a $200 difference.

Now there's two threads on '10 pricing?

I got my Sport MT blackberry for 16,370+TTL. They threw in mats at that price. Its only 750 under msrp using costco program, so I think i could have done better. the other thread had a poster who mentioned he got his '10 fit sport MT for 15,xxx + TTL, so that's the best price Ive seen anyone get so far. We got .09% Financing, but we put down 3k, no trade.

Insurance is ridiculous with these though, wish we knew that upfront. A '10 WRX would have only been 10 bucks a month more, insurance wise.

Well, doc, title and licensing fees also differ by states/dealerships, too, so that might not be relavent, either. But it is nice to know what people are getting on the total OTD costs. Maybe give a breakdown of purchase price and OTD price?
