How much did you pay for your Fit?
M/T Fits
Both dealers I went to said Honda is ceasing M/T for the 2011 model year. They said that only 2-3% of all Honda's sold are manuals and that is more cost effective to stop making them for a manufacturing standpoint.
sounds like something the dealer would say to give you a sense of urgency to buy. i love my new fit, but dealing with the dealership is such a pain in the ass. i hate salesmen, it just feels like you are doing your best to not get screwed over by them.
they initially wanted 18k for my base model lol dealer markup.
i ended up getting it for 15,500

5 Speed
They actually had plenty of automatics left but as I was driving the salesman told me M/t will no longer be made for 2011. I made the descision to buy the 5 speed to have one more time before I go to automatics for good. He seemed surprised and said they are hard to find compared to before. I can't say this is etched in stone but just repeating what was told to me.

I looked up 2011 Fits and I think they will still make the 5 speed M/T. I think they were talking about no more production for the rest of 2010 model production.
Ourisman Honda of Laurel MD. I would never recomend them, I was at the dealership for seven hours of bullshit to get that price. Worst car buying experience of my life, but I got the car for the price I wanted to pay, and got .9% financing!
Just got mine yesterday- 3,449 miles, 2010 Sport AT, Taffeta white with Carbon Fiber Trim. I paid $16,320 after some haggling. No taxes for me since I live in NH!
Bastard did hit me with a $385 doc fee though, so I suppose off the lot was $16,705. Edmunds and KBB didn't even have an estimate for used 2010's, so I didn't have hard numbers from that year to back me up- just 2009 low mileage numbers.
You guys think I got a good deal? I was pleased, but a friend said he thought I overpaid a bit. :/

Just got mine today!!!! w00t! 2010 Fit Sport Automatic - 16,018 Before Taxes.
It gets a lot more MPG than my 350z! ;D I miss some things about the Zed but the economics of the Fit really make up for it. I'm going to keep the Fit for a long time.
