Well I might bite the bullet and add another Fit to the stable to join my wifes 2010 Blackberry Fit Sport

Quoted 16656 for a 2010 Fit Sport A/T Taffeta White which includes doc fees. So selling price really 16409 plus 247 doc fee

Too much?

No Sales tax in NH

Hmmm...did a TMV on Edmunds and they didn't include the 750 dollar rebate (in the TMV) TMV without rebate is 16470 including destination....so in actually an offer of 15720 isnt all that crazy...

Does that make sense? Then again how much stock do dealers put in Edmunds TMV?

$16,500 OTD , does that include tax, titles, and other fees? If so, what dealership?

Manual transmission. I got him to $15,800 OTD on a base model but figured the extra 700 was worth spending on the sport.

To Blackberry_Goose,
Try to find a dealer in your area that will sell it to you for $15720 or less + registration.
There are dealers in my area that are selling 2010 FIT Sport A/T for about that price or less which includes the destination and processing fee.

Sold the White Fit about 20 minutes before I got there..oh well...Sales Manager said he could get one for me but it would be an additional 200 dollars over the 16.4K I was quoted...said he had to make a little margin......

I have been running numbers and I'm not seeing how dealers are selling 2010 Fit Sports for under 16K and making any profit??

Thanks to chef_grace was able to get a 2010 Honda Fit Sport A/T SSM for 14617+100 processing+750 destination = 15467. 6.25% TX sales Tax 16453 OTD! Having it shipped to Dallas, TX or flying to go get it but at any rate will still be way ahead of any price quoted by Dallas area Honda dealerships.

Shockley Honda in Frederick, MD. The quote we got was good through today. Get a internet quote via their website and see what number they come back with. If the numbers are different I will ask my salesman if they can give you the same deal.

I called all over Texas and none were willing to work with me. Interestingly, one dealer in Dallas offered me 17997 OTD same car. Called dealer in Houston and they quoted me 18400 OTD for a 2011. I don't get it.

Thanks Jerel, Glad that you were able to finally get the car
The credit actually goes to AshleyK. I didn't even realize that dealer even existed until she mentioned it. We have so many Honda dealers around the DC/VA/MD area.
So far nobody can beat Shockley's price.

Thats a great deal! The deals are out there for sure! Some dealers just want to move cars not make top $ on the ones they sell...especially 2010's

Maryland is so far away from TX I don't have the time to have it ship here or for me to fly there and drive it back. I need the car asap and the Round Rock Honda is giving me $18k OTD

By the way, anyone hear anything about a recall on 2009 and 2010 Fits due to a faulty spring in one of the cylinders causing the engine to seize?? My salesman told me that Honda issued a stop on all purchases of 2009 and 2010 Fits. Sounds very fishy since jerel2k10 JUST bought a Fit.
