I did my financing through Delta Airlines Credit Union and they mentioned they needed to look up the NADA value on the 2010 Honda Fit Sport A/T. Interestingly, Shockley's quote is the only one that is in-line with the actual market value of the car.

2010 Honda Fit Standard Equipment, Pricing and Information - NADAguides.com

The clean trade-in price is where I wanted to be for a new car that is 1 year old. I was trying to tell these Dallas area dealers that I was going to take a double-hit on depreciation right off the lot and I was right in regards to the actual value of the car.

New guy... I didn't want to make a complete "high my name is "X" thread." so I'll say hi now.

Anyway, I got my Fit last night. New 2010 Fit Sport, 5-speed. Because it was a 2010 the dealership knocked the price down from the $17,160 sticker to $15,900. Add that to the 0.9% APR (graduate program) and my 05 Accord trade-in, I have a payment under $170.

Love the car.

Just bought a 2010 Sport Fit A/T Milano Red, $15,701.....didnt do as well as if I flew down to Shockley (paid about 650 more after fees) but they took my HHR with 98K on it off my hands and very happy with dealer (Autofair Honda in Manchester NH). Plus didn't have to put hundreds of miles on the car day one lol

Any sales tax? Did you finance or bought cash? This seems strangely low.

Financed for 60 months @ 3.4%, the price is with everything on it including sales tax. I bought the car through USAA, and they had the price about a grand under invoice. I'm just glad my dealership decided to match the price

I assume this was M/T? If it was an A/T, for that price, I may just honorably serve... :P

Usaa

Not that it makes a big difference but you can also use USAA if you are a legacy (ie your parent(s) served in the military). I'm 23 but can still go through USAA for anything because I got in the door through my parents.

PS: Jon Price (internet sales rep) mentioned them loading up a full Mugen equipped Sport Fit, and it should be on the lot soon. He said that he might post an ad for it in these forums, so keep your eyes peeled!
