Just bought a 2011 sport MT at Santa Barbara Honda for 17011 (this is the invoice price) including destination. OTD was 18870. Also got them to include a cargo cover for their cost ($123).
According to my calculations their profit is $337 (dealer holdback is this amount).
You can probably do better because I am soft. Also, this is a small market. I'm sure they could sense that I did not really want to drive to Ventura or LA.

congrats gnorf, i really like sb honda and really regret not purchasing there, adam is a really nice guy. i visited vista honda and dch honda of oxnard and had negative experiences. sounds like a good price on a 2011 (which they're aren't any smoking deals on this early in the year).

if you see what looks like a white sport without wing or side trim ... thats me

Just picked up my new 2010 Black Sport with free all season floor mats for $16,300 out the door on .9% financing for 60 months. They were willing to drive 40 miles to another dealer and trade to get the color that I wanted. I could have gotten it lower at another dealer that was fighting for my business but they treated me like a jerk when I walked in there the first time. It wasn't until they realized I had the buying power did they even start to treat me right. So for that I am willing to pay a few extra dollars to go to a dealer that respects me.

Just got ours last week.
2010 AT Canadian LX model in Tafetta White. (A/C, PWR DR, heated mirrors, rims, wing, cruise, side mouldings but no ESC, FOGS, Sport rims or exhaust tip, or USB)

Out the door was just shy of $18K here in Ontario.

I just bought my first Fit a couple of days ago! I love it...in fact my husband and I want to get another one when his old Camry goes kaput.

I bought a 2011 crystal black sport A/T and then added on $2100 in upgraded features. I did not trade in anything, and I did not put any money down. To get it out the door with all processing fees, etc. was $19,300.

From what I could see comparing the 2010 and the 2011, they haven't seemed to increase in price much...

Took delivery a week ago on a 2010 Fit Sport M/T in Milano Red. Got the 0.9% financing rate and they had to transport the car in from Topeka, KS. I got it for $16,100 out-the-door. The only extras on it were wheel locks. I prefer it that way. I've got some good sources for floor-mats, Mugen parts, etc. etc., and prefer to accessorize on my own rather than negotiate with the dealer for the parts. I live in Northwest Arkansas, USA.

What did you add besides floormats that tacked on the additional $1400 over and above the 15.9k?

I just bought my Royal Pearl Blue Honda Fit Sport 2011 (A/T) without Navigation with floor mat included in standard features from Planet Honda (Union, NJ). The Invoice Price is $17,710, was able to haggle down to $15,800 before destination and TTL. OTD is $18,397.25 (for a 7% sales tax rate). Will have to hunt for good cargo cover source.

2010 Fit Sport Lease

The dealer still had a 2010 model year, Fit Sport

I have a three year lease for 185 a month
Up to 15,000 miles a year 15 cents per mile if I go over
They gave me 2300 for trade in on an 01 Civic with a bad transmission
I have a buy back price of $10,040 at the end of the lease otherwise I can walk away.

Add up all the payments, the trade in value and the end of lease purchase price and it comes to $19,000.

That's spread over a few years though.

All taxes and everything included. I walked out the door having only to pay the first months payment of 185.

I probably could have gotten payments around 160 but I'm a terrible negotiator and I walked in ready to buy because my transmission went out the day before.

St. Louis Misouri area

By the way a 2011 Fit Sport would have cost about 11 dollars more per month. No change from 2010 to 2011 so I stuck with the lower pymnt.

For that price, it better have come with a chauffeur. Seriously, I bought the top end Fit (AT Sport with Navi) while still in the current model year and only paid 20,500 including TTL.

Did you get the complete Mugen kit or something?
